Always fun to see people lower the price by 1 satoshi to sell quicker.

could you point me to some place that has a thorough guide on how to setup a p2pool for vertcoin? i had compiled vertcoin-qt and vertcoind on my linux virtualbox, also compiled the vertcoin_scrypt stuff for the p2p, but when running the p2p itself, it couldn't connect and kept giving me authentication errors, even though vertcoin.conf was setup correctly. any help would be awesome. Here's my vertcoin.conf: rpcuser=user rpcpassword=put pass here rpcallowip=127.0.0.1
addnode=88.191.185.113 addnode=192.241.125.215 addnode=192.241.125.216 addnode=192.241.125.217 addnode=192.241.125.218 addnode=192.241.125.219 addnode=192.241.125.220 server=1 daemon=1 I also used this version of P2Pool - not sure if it matters: https://github.com/donSchoe/p2pool-vtcHope this helps! Edit: Rereading your post, you need to compile the daemon, not the GUI client. See the instructions at the Github link.

Cryptsy takes way too long to do anything. Coinedup might be slow when it comes to refreshing and loading pages, but the deposits and withdraws are 10 times faster

Wouldnt go anywhere near cryptsy tbh. after all the crap when the new coins were listed. Complete shambles, and there transaction times are terrible. I have never had a problem with coinedup. Ok we all moan that it's slow, but it at least works!

You want to know the real reason the price is dropping? ---- > Cryptsy deposits went through.
If you look at cryptsy volume the dumb dumbs are about done panic selling fearing they missed the big party. It has to happen. Price correction must happen.
Guess what will happen to the price tonight? And then again after dinner in China? ^^^^
If you thought you were crying when your deposit didn't show up last night. If you just sold at 0.006 0.007 or 0.008 -- Tonight you will cry a lot more when it goes back towards 0.01.
I think that's a realistic assessment.
This. Like stated several times. HOLD, VTC is a long-term bet. Opppss! Did anyone sell at 0.005 or god forbid 0.004? I told you not to do that 1 hour ago. See above ^^^ I told you that you will cry for selling at half. I know I shouldn't say this because my fellow Vertans want more cheap coins but I just want to help the few people that actually read before making big choices. Reading is good. It's back at 0.008. So you lost half your money. Please don't ever panic sell. Or panic buy either for that matter. KEEP CALM and HOLD. LTC is in our sights.

After that cryptsy induced dump i withdrew all my funds there. They won't see me again.

I'm curious what makes Bitcrush so popular? 1450 miners and 1.4Ghash, even with registrations closed.

And now for something completely different; First off: i'm no web programmer (and i don't need to be, thats not my task). I want to support VTC payments on my website. We will add bitcoin/litecoin payments soon (no external payment party) and we will probably use bitcoind & litecoind. My question is: does vtc have an equivalent for this? Or will we have to do all the work from scratch?

Vertcoin TROLL guide
Species of Trolls that can be found in the Vertcoin Thread.
- Trolls that own LTC and are scared people will sell LTC and buy VTC - Trolls that own DOGE and are scared people will sell DOGE and buy VTC - Trolls that own any type of scrypt coin that is not ASIC proof with N-factor - Trolls that are pissed they sold at $0.50 per coin three days ago - Trolls that are pissed they sold today at 0.004 today during the dump - Trolls that want cheap VTC and will speak the usual FUD to try to drink cheap coins - Trolls that are mad they have to do a little extra work to mine a coin that will make them 10x more than other coins in the long run
And the biggest is :
--->> Trolls that are currently waiting months for their new Scrypt ASIC rig to show up in the mail.
Expect them to be posting here constantly. VTC > LTC > BTC

Not to mention their fees are terrible. Theyve been one of the more stable pools though, I remember switching to it a while back, when many were down. Noped out of there pretty quick after.
