Awesome idea, Oh, I have no fb, just twitter Well then get on your twitter and tweet my friend. No way i am paying for tweets. Too much backgroud noise. But use you can tweet the offer to your friends. Posted https://twitter.com/cryptorush/status/432420964907745280 hope it can help to spread VTC and rise back. Thanks sammy that actually helps too. No need to give instructions as people will do so on their own if they want to. They can link to here or wherever they heard it from. This also will get google searches up, raise awareness and assure at least a thousand wallet downloads. Also i was super skeptical about bitcoin until someone sent me twi satoshi as a tip and from there i was a crypto convert. So this would win some people over i think and since wr alteady have pretty good value per coin it is worth doing for the 300 bonus at the ery least. Which hopeully will become an expensive prize indeed.

And yeah, russian news are terrible. We can't withdraw RUB any more, personally I think there will be blood, we bought 15+ R9 290, now mining VTC, but there was a hope we can recoup this cards in 2-3 months, now I don't know what we will talk about on monday, probably we fucked ourselves up.

Just convert to another currency if you can, it'll be annoying, but find a way to convert to Euros, then a bank to take Euros or something. It'll be super annoying, but it's not the end of the world. _______________________________________________________________________________ _________________________ VwxFb6toLLsYQKaBUFd6h9kAstjNpRKCch

Still can withdraw USD, who knows how long. After this news about RUB, USD/RUB rate was exploded there. There was 1M USD wall (by btc-e I think), now it's exploded again. Also EUR. EUR rate is insane. RUB - rube, I like it It was also simple deposit method.

what is market explanation for pirce drop ... is the diff for this vert got lowered ? .. or what it is I have a theory because I lived the whole phase just at different levels, swings between0.00035 to 0.00067 for a couple of weeks because once I started mining vertcoin I was getting about (and still) 25% khs less than other 290x cards on vertcoin so, I started mining other coins like doge to use my 100% capacity, save some Btc and buy small quantities of vertcoins because i thought prices could drop even more. I mean it was a 2 week old coin and still pretty young now (1 month). i think the new miners are living the same phase, they got frustrated trying to find the magic number and they are mining something else, saving btc and expecting VTC to drop more to get in. The few that know how to mine VTC at full capacity are experiencing some kind of VTC abundance and are selling 50% of what they are mining because they are also scare that prices decrease more also to compensate their Doge/BtC portafolio. Still I like this mining behavior because it gives plenty of chances for people to get in at different levels(myself included). Don't worry guys after all this BTC/LTC storm passes around prices will skyrocket like it happened to me, I just wish I kept mining VTC intead of alternating with doge and those multipools. Good Night Vertans!

Are we still in if we post a link now? Seems like a fair deal. The link is legit, the address in comment demonstrates the mechanism for crypto, and also invites further discussion. Fairly certain non of my fb viewers know what crypto is. Its good to avoid asking people to post anywhere other than their own pages, I think the people we want here are likely to be slightly resistant to link spamming.

Looking at the specs, the 4 year reward halving is archaic. IMO it would be better served if there is a smoother reward decrease. Worldcoin, for instance, decreases by 1% every week.
Banging this drum again. You should really look into a smoother reward decrease. It helps the prices while also maintaining the same coin supply. Also, try to get it added on mcx. There is big money there and limited coins. https://mcxnow.com/?r=sumantso (my ref)

That's me on day 1. I missed out on mining at about 5x todays rate (post tweaking 300->400kH/s) for a weekend, thinking it would be OK to stick with multipool and trade for VTC later when I had time to set things up. I wonder how much of the network these people account for though. Having seen (and both won/lost) some crazy stock price swings (where there is a real business underneath, with a hint of fundamental value), I don't criticise anyone who sold 50% after making over 200% return. They still believe.

We are not going to spam this thread with links. Big mess and I think they banned them from here anyway. I will have to streamline it some. Meanwhile post anyway the more people know about Vert the faster we grow.

Whoever has the vertcoin twitter feed. Please teeet something along the lines of.
"What is the best way to hedge against falling #bitcoin? Buy vertcoin. Limited supply, new and still priced low. Fastest percentage gainer in altcoin history."
This will work if we can get critical mass. World needs a bitcoin hedge. Enough bitcoin holders to stabilize vtc and give them somewhere to run. VTC is holding up incredibly well given the mood. If can get the optics turned so Vertcoin is seen as a flighy to quality we have the perfect coin. No other fits the bill.
#betterthanbitcoin.
Why don't you post it with your personal twitter account? it has the same effect for the world

Why don't you post it with your personal twitter account? it has the same effect for the world I don't have one. Or I think I have one but haven't logged in for years. I don't like twitter I am too long-winded. I should probably get back to it though since you brought it up. Anyway I think bitcoin is done crashing so probably not important now. Edit- But this is tweetworthy: Vertcoin has broken 100,000 users today. Currently 104,492 wallets on the network. This is up from about 40,000 one week ago.
