We really happy with the progress that has been made with iCoin over the last 2 weeks and we can't stress enough that this is just the beginning.
Future Plans:
1. Getting onto coinpayments - We will also have a special announcement to make when the vote is over. 2. Adding Merchants 3. Monitor Kimoto Gravity Update 4. Release Android wallet for testing 5. Getting onto more exchanges.
Coinwarz will also be added in there somewhere Just to feedback on what's been achieved since this post. 1.Getting onto coinpayments - Complete 2.Adding Merchants - High Priority 3.Monitor Kimoto Gravity Update - Complete 4.Release Android wallet for testing - In testing 5.Getting onto more exchanges - Ongoing Coinwarz added. We will also be updating the website to list the merchants that start accepting iCoin so you start having use for them. General Mobile Wallet - investigating Our Marketing department is now working full steam to get merchants to accept iCoin, however this is something everyone can take part in if you feel a opened minded merchant is ready to accept virtual currencies. Coinpayments will assist any new Merchant in getting setup. As Bigridg7 mentioned above there will be a iCoin reward for your efforts as well as the same amount for the Merchant to get started with. If you need any more android testers, please do let me know

Hey Lord, I think after the next release we will definitely get community members to test it out, we can currently send and receive coins no problems . Now it's just about cleaning up the code and ironing out the bugs.

I have downloaded a few mobile wallets and the one I have had most success with is the GLD wallet. The NET wallet was clunky and horrid.

Hello fellow Icoinians, I have a challenge for you.
I am playing pool with Corpsicle later on, the first person to guess the correct score after 10 frames will get 100 Icoin.
Just so you have some sort of form guide the last time I won 7-3.
Happy Friday folks

I am quite surprised that the network hash is still only at about 175-200mh/s on average. Considering... where you have something like mooncoin at 3680mh/s.... lol obviously current profitibilty is there due to block rewards vs price, but people need to place more speculative value into their mining choice.
If those speculative people are using Coinwarz to identify their mining choice, this might be effecting their thoughts. iCoin is listed there against the exchange coinmarket.io that has been out of action for the week. This has two effects; the first is that it is showing a lower price than iCoin was last traded at and so impacts the value and rating, the second is that the perception may be that iCoin can't be traded as the exchange is down. Both may have a negative effect on the number of miners involved. How does Coinwarz choose which exchange to use for price reference? In terms of those exchanges where iCoin is traded and there are other coins listed on Coinwarz using the same exchange, looks like the only one up there right now is Poloniex. Hey bgs, I have mailed coinwarz to get Poloniex added as a reference exchange for iCoin so at least there will be a proper evaluation of the market while coinmarket.io is down. Please feel free to mail coinwarz with the same request Hi Viberbass, Just checked out Coinwarz and see that an alive exchange in Poloniex is now being used. Excellent. Hopefully this will help to give more accurate information to those who are considering iCoin.

Also managed to get coinwarz to look directly at this exchange instead of coinmarket.io. As soon as coinmarket.io is stable we will let you all know. Our Marketing guys have also been hard at work and we should have a Merchant update soon.

It appears that https://www.mininpool.co has been on the wrong block chain since the 27/2. We are now having troubles synching back onto the correct chain so the pool is down until further notice.

Hi ethought, I just pm'd you the details, we didn't realise your pool was still mining iCoin... that was a overlook on our part. Once it's updated please post about your pool here with some details including fees, PROP/PPLNS etc and will make sure to get it updated on the website and ANN.

Android Wallet testing is going pretty well at this stage, sent myself 5 iCoin and it took 7 minutes to come through. We will try improve that more by adding additional seeds. The main thing is we almost ready for community beta testing.

Looks like Icoin is holding up very well, a lot of coins have taken a rather large dip.
Any reason for this?

Hi gang, just fired up the miner for iCoin. Brutal winter in northeast US has been keeping me busy for the last few weeks. I was reading through the posts and really, I'm surprised the network hash isn't higher than it is. I'm throwing 300Khs at it and if anyone has a pci-e 16x riser cable I'll add some more.
ViperBass, looking good and iCoin can be used at CryptoAlley.com. We stay sync'd with Coinpayments.

I was always expecting the network hash to be at least 1-2 gh/s... but hey i aint complaining as it means easier mining for now :p. I have no doubt that the network will be that high sometime in the near future.
