Also, I'll be busy wrapping up the materials for the Crypto Currency Convention over the next couple days! - Prezi Presentation - Slideshow Presentation - Speech Script and Outline - Handout Formatting Everything is due (rough drafts) by the 19th. I have a good chunk of work ahead of me, so if I'm a bit more absent from the forum over the course of the next day or so, you know what I'll be doing  Thanks everyone for your continued support, super excited for what's to come! - Ridg You're not the only one who is super excited. I can't believe it, because of the low price I have soon almost 100k iCoins - I'm gonna be one sad bagholder or filthy rich s.o.b. - hopefully the latter.  |

Just a update, our Windows Wallet installer will be uploaded to the website later tonight, this is a lot more professional then just having a zip file. We had a lot of comebacks just because people
did not know how to extract the files and weren't sure if it was being done right.
Esp after the 9th April where iCoin will be going more mainstream.
Another important update is that we now have a media team that has joined iCoin and will be doing all future video content for us. Our 1st video will be launched on the 9th April, we really excited about this project.
Android Wallet should be released this weekend, just waiting for confirmation from the Android developer.

Hi All, I would just like to report that the install for windows has been updated to a executable to make things a lot more user friendly for new users to crypto. http://geticoin.com/windows/The Zip and Exe installer options will still be made available on the ANN for those who prefer the Zip file. |

I figured id get off my lazy butt and test out the android wallet a little. Anything i need to be aware of?
I am running a rooted S3 (Bell Canada) running CyanogenMod 10.2 (4.3.1).
I will probably just deposit small amounts (1 and under)

My only thing i noticed so far was that the balance, it doesnt differentiate between the coins that are confirmed and unconfirmed, is there a way to add that? i do see how it shows that the transfer itself is confirmed or not.

Hey nr, At this stage it's the main way to tell, coins that aren't ready for use will be greyed out in the transaction detail. We will announce the live release later tonight. |

So I have some good news and bad news to report. Lets start off with the good news: Coinpayments has been bought over by another company and will most likley continue to run after the 31st March with iCoin as a payment option. The bad news: It is pretty much confirmed that coinmarket.io was a scam exchange and we know iCoin had most of initial buyers on that platform. Going fwd, with exchanges if you unsure of who the owner is and you want to trade, withdraw your trades back to your personal wallets on completion, it's getting rough out there atm. Good deal. I just read the info at Coinpayments so CryptoAlley stays up and running, with Mitm as an escrow service. This is good news Sorry to hear about coinmarket scam... this is not good for virtual currencies. |
