How many coins do you need to buy up to 2650.. 3077. which even at 2650 is only 0.0815 BTC. So low yes, but hardly in rough shape.

edit: mind you this on on cryptorush, polonex and others arent to crazy either, a few thousand

I am buying up on cryptorush Smiley picked some up for 800sat yesterday woop

I'm interested in... How do you think, will price go to 300-400 satoshi next week?? It looks like multipools are pointed on iCoin.

I've been buying at these prices a bit, and have ~150K now. But it will probably go all the way down to 80 satoshi, at which point I think I'm going to buy 1-2 MILLION.  Cheesy

Ok, but I was asking only about these prices. Will you buy more 150K if price will drop to 400 satoshi?

Hard to say, because right now I'm starting to think that the "problem" of iCoin is exactly the same as earthcoin's, the block reward is still at the highest number, and will be for a very long time. So there are constantly more coins mined than there possibly can be buyers. In 3 months there will be double the coins than today. Will there be double the people throwing BTC into iCoin? I doubt it. The big investments have already been made. That's why I see the exchange price going way below 100, so I'm probably waiting either the block reward halving or the price going to around 50 to buy more. Unless of course, the critical mass is reached and more people find their way into cryptos and iCoin that can eat all the mined coins and more.

Well at current price it requires 100x3 minutes, so 100x20 (per hour) = 2000, @ 24 hours a day so 48000 coin/day. at 1000 satoshi you need only 0.44BTC to keep the price of 1000 satoshi. If you look at EAC:

30seconds = ~10,000 (its actually variable, and a bit more but to simplify calculations ill use 10,000)
120 blocks/hr = 1,200,000 /hr
24 hrs = 28,000,000/day more new coins. Currently 15 satoshi would net 4.2btc/day.

This, combined with the massive amount of alts being created and placed on all exchanges everywhere means all alt-coins are fighting for the same pool of btc/ltc to keep their prices stable as all coins have more volume hitting the markets.  At least thats a big factor of price declines in my opinion.  Just a few months ago the list was at least 80% smaller to spread that btc/ltc investments.  It will be nice when more ways (fiat mainly) bring price stability to some of the alts.

Can you PM me? If you make this calculations, than you can predict growth of some alts...

About iCoin I think there's a big room for growth. But at that moment, it's likely that we see a growth from 1000 to 3000 than from 1000 to 10000 satoshi. Because there's no reason for them who bought at 1000 now, not to sell at 5000. They will still get good profit from iCoin.

Hey guys, sorry I've been absent the past couple days. I was out of state this past weekend, and aside from that I've been polishing up the script (merely a formality) for my next call with the organizer of Crypto Currency Convention. Completion of Powerpoint and speech in it's entirety as well as marketing tools soon to follow. In short, we will be well prepared for the event.

Upon reading the past couple pages, there has been some great discussion in regards to the current price of iCoin. Honestly, it threw me off guard as well. Login one day, 3000 satoshi, the next 700! However, I really think this is no more than a couple multipools and people who are not advocates, merely day traders getting impatient. We're in it for the long haul, and it's very cool to know that iCoin has not even seen a legitimate climb in price yet. Not one! #Groundfloor #BubbleWrap With the name, design, longevity, and marketplace potential (taking into consideration our fiat/ICN exchange, future merchant developments, etc...) do you really think it likely that iCoin is on it's way out? I would beg to differ Wink

Thanks for everybody's support as always. Working hard on our end, but always seeking help in expansion and promotion Smiley PM me if you're interested in performing any tasks to grow iCoin in exchange for some bounty, always willing to get the community involved and reward those who care about iCoin most.

Cheers - Ridg

So, now iCoin is 400 satoshi... Maybe, that's a pity moment for everybody who invested earlier... But maybe it's time for someone who want to buy more.

Hashrate is also dropped to 40 MH/s.
Maybe, it's time to mine more.

In fact, there are manipulations from someone.

What they do:
1. Mine iCoin
2. Dump at available prices
3. Some miners panics and get out as iCoin becomes non-profitable
4. Buy at low prices
5. Pump
6. Dump

That's the story. Main problem is low trading volume.

Once my btc is released from Coinmarket I will definitely be buying up at prices under 1000. It's way under valued at this point in time but it's more overall market sentiment on alt coins then actually iCoin itself.

That will be good. I would buy if I could have any BTC. How do you think, maybe it's overall panic about Gridseed ASIC-miners coming???

I don't see how these devices will ROI, the worst part is you can't sell them for any other use besides mining, unlike GFX cards which will always have a value but we know people will
buy ASICs regardless.

I think, that ASICs will appear, but we will never know for sure, if they are in the hands of miners.

Someone who have bought ASICs will not start speaking about it widely... He will just mine and dump, mine and dump.

In this case all rates will start to go down. And people will mine only something profitalbe. For example, what's the reason to mine iCoin now? It's cheap and there are no buy orders.

Was reading theme about FlutterCoin:

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=509499.0

And it's very interesting:
1. FlutterCoin started at 10th march, iCoin started at 10th january.
2. FlutterCoin Hashrate is 11000 MH/s, iCoin is 50 MH/s.
3. FlutterCoin is already on good exchanges like MintPal, BTer. iCoin is on CrytpoRush and some not so good exchanges.
4. FlutterCoin is not so good name. iCoin is the best name for cryptocurrency.
5. FlutterCoin has no promotion, not too much Facebook fans, 64 followers on Twitter, 11 likes on Facebook. iCoin has wide promotion, 490 likes on Facebook, 25000 followers on Twitter.
6. FlutterCoin grows in price from 400 satoshi to 700 satoshi, iCoin drops in price from 3000 satoshi to 400 satoshi

My conclusion:
Promotion and good name means nothing it there's no innovation

I wanted to say this not because I don't like iCoin.

I know, it's hard to explain this feeling, when you invest in coin just because you believe in team and in name.

But nothing happens, so you lose money... And sitting looking for other promising coins.

You guys, BigRidg, ViperBass... you know that this cryptocurrency convention can make difference to iCoin, i wish you good luck. Maybe, you will make iCoin much better than it's now.

Besides all coins being down, CON for example...https://poloniex.com/exchange/btc_con

People have underestimated the damage from coinmarket.io, I for one have been turned off buying iCoin because of it and still have btc stuck on that exchange. I am sure I am not the only one.
Also freshmarket.io which I believe is the same scammers which no one has mentioned on the coinmarket.io thread yet but I will bring it to there attention now also had the most ltc trade
volume for iCoin.

If you look at all the coins on coinmarket.io and see how they trading on other exchanges it does not look good... coinmarket looked great and most of your buyers probably have stuck coin
on that system still.

The first problem to tackle is the low trading volume; icoin needs to be on an exchange where you don't have to place an order and wait 24 hours to see if it went through (Mintpal or Cryptsy?).

Once this is in place, mining capacity has to be raised. Icoin is becoming very poorly distributed (15 kH/s will grab you 25% of all coins produced daily atm). Poor distribution and a large premine scare away would be investors as the coin is highly susceptible to large dumps.

Once mining capacity has increased you will see a price increase as icoin becomes more difficult to acquire.

Mintpal would be a great option for iCoin, I would trade on that exchange.

Speaking of Premine, I see Captainhook has not logged into his account since the 10th March, is he still alive?
