So today is the big day for iCoin and the Crypto world in General, we wish Bigridg7 and the marketing team a good event and promoting iCoin in the financial capital of the world.

The iCoin video is officially completed and we will release it later this week.

We now entering our 3rd phase for iCoin and that is exposure!

Just so you know the IPO for Mintpal votes is still ongoing and please keep voting whenever you get a chance too. We have passed the 10000 vote mark.

Looks like iCoin is on first, happy days. Good luck guys

Does anyone know if this event will be streamed?

Yes good luck to Bigridg7!! I am looking forward to seeing the results of this convention on iCoin. It has a great name, great team although captainhook could update the community more on dev updates
coming for iCoin.
For development, as Viberpass announced in previous posts, we have plan to change iCoin algorithm to N-Scrypt (in testing phase), but there're also other good algo such as X11 (more power efficiency, anti-Asic) so we will consider choosing algo carefully as we don't want to have many major updates.

Somebody asked for premined coins, it's still there, all transactions were sent to Viberpass and Bigridg7 for bounties, can check block explorer if you want to.

Our team not only using premined ICN for bounties but also contribute our own BTC for events such as Cryptocurrency Convention which Bigrig7 is going to attend.

As Captainhook said, as a team we contributed bitcoins and bigridg7 is taking premined iCoins(for the event giveaway) so Bigridg7 and another member of the marketing team can attend. We appreciate that Bigridg7 has taken time out of his schedule to do this as he owns his own successful business that keeps him busy but we all have the belief that iCoin is going to go places and today is the day we push on relentlessly.

Any community suggestions and input is always welcome so please come forward and don't be shy! Smiley

Even if you use Bitcoin through Tor, the way transactions are handled by the network makes anonymity difficult to achieve. Do not expect your transactions to be anonymous unless you really know what you're doing.

I mined hirocoin for a few days and it was so nice to have lower temps in my house and it also uses less power according to some.

I have never mined anything n-scrypt, how does this differ from scrypt?

X11 or groestl are both great. Groestl is even more efficient than X11 and allows some good cpu mining and is old gpus and nvidia friendly, kind of universal and really balanced algo, i love it afaic, very promising, see groestlcoin : https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=525926.0.

N-scrypt is not that efficient, it's between X11 and scrypt in terms of power consumption.

With summer coming, better go for the best efficiency to keep miners motivated.

We probably will lean more towards X11. Smiley

We will never just rush into any change though because sometimes exploits can be gained from certain Algos, this happened recently with the earlier implementations of KGW.

Yeah we basically speak within the next 2 hours and this was done so bidridg7 also has time to do the 50 iCoin giveaway per person at the booth and chat to more people about the currency.

I'd use Swisscex for exchanging Icoin.  You can't deposit or withdrawal BTC at cryptorush, they even admit on the front page of their site!
;Edit, maybe BTC deposits are working for cryptorush now, but I'm not able to get trades through on any coin on that site right now.

Anyway here's a pic of developer Ryan Ridgeway giving his presentation at the 1st Cryptocurrency Convention 2014, NY

Really good to see iCoin being represented here, it shows the coin is not a scam and that goes for all currencies. I still hold iCoin and don't plan to sell for very long time this must be most undervalued crypto. imo.
All the coins making this are not scam and people will be accountable if is. Nice to see more coin owners not being anonymous.

I have to ask again, are you certain that someone isn't cherry-picking the high reward blocks?

None of the pools that I could check managed to find an average reward  for the past week. Isn't that a bit odd?  It wouldn't hurt anything and it might make things more fair.

I realize that this could just be a matter of combined bad luck and there probably isn't any way to know, but still, I would away from here.

How would one go about doing this? Would it have to be the dev team or can be anyone from the community and I think the block rewards are all 100. There is no high or low like dogecoin.

Yeah take ur time, no need to rush it, X11 seems to be the safer bet right now, it's becoming quite popular among the crypto crowd Smiley
