The recipe is pretty simple, change algo to something heat friendly, add ring signatures, fork the coin and reduce the total supply. Sit back and enjoy the 1000%.
The algo being implemented is gonna be much more. I guess it takes time to develop and test. You are just guessing or you have some insider info?

Greetings Everyone,
Just wanted to give you all a quick update to let you know we are still here and working. I (Jared) have had some personal issues arise the past couple weeks I have had to deal with. Including a move to a new location which required me to move the filming studio I had set up. We have just about set up a new one so we can begin rolling out videos once more.
I personally have been working on DigiByte since the beginning of last December pretty much 7 days a week non stop. Some times 14+ hours a day. So I have neglected other parts of my life which I am now paying for. I have now got those issues sorted out and I am working with others on the team (who still have full time jobs) to keep working on future developments.
We have been talking with some serious investors the past couple weeks at least every other day. We will be flying to LA on June 2nd to hopefully finalize a deal. This process has been very time consuming as it has required some very detailed plans and research to be done as to how we can properly build & market an exchange in todays uncertain regulatory environment.
With recent developments that have arisen in the algorithm aspect of cryptos we have held of on officially announcing an algo change until we know for sure we are making the right move.
We apologize if we have not responded to some people yet but we have received countless messages from other coins asking us to implement DigiShield into their coin with zero to little compensation for our time or energy. We definitely want to support the development of crypto currency technology but we only have some many hours in the day and limited financial resources at the moment.
Stay tuned for more info and feel free to help us out how ever you think you can and we are very much looking toward the future! You guys rock as a community!

Thank you and your team for your hard work! I know how it is if you neglect private life in favor of work. Hopefully the people around have enough understanding how important this period is in your life.
If it would be easy to have success, everyone would be successfull. You never get something for free that is worth fighting for!

Thank you for an update, you may want to look into selling digishield implementation, doing work for free is stressful when important time is being spent. Compensation goes a long way in relieving stress.

Definitely something to this. Implementing Digishield for Doge and Naut did a good job of putting the DGB name out there but now something is needed to set DGB apart from the rest. Not saying don't help others implement Digishield, just make sure if it cuts into important work for DGB that they make it worth yours and DGB's time!

I would only add that it's a doge eat doge world, and there also comes a time - after having leveraged the fantastic PR your helping hand got you - when it's time be less of a nice guy and to actually start doing battle with the competition. With the advent of scrypt ASIC, this "chess game" is going to wind down very quickly for the scrypt coins, and if a widely distributed user base and secure network is the goal, the best and most effective option that I know of that would be a decent starting point towards getting there (for now anyway) would be Groestl. And there's certainly no time for helping others . . . not until DGB has staked its claim anyway.

Thank you for the update.
But I personnally think that others coins can wait for Digishield (moreover if you are doing it for free). It's DGB's work time now! You spend lot of time in your project, and you haven't to spend too much time in other project by helping them to introduce digishield. Digibyte's team desserves success... but by helping too much the other coins, you'll :
1 - Spend time for other and not for Digibyte project 2 - Give more strenght the competition (because it's a kind of competition, where some coins will be popular and where others will be undervalued/forgotten). Even if I understand you want to help the "Crypto World" to develop itself, I think you can do it AFTER Digibyte got its success.
This is just my 2 cents.

Just a heads up, Digishield has been used in a lot more coins than just doge and naut. Casino coin is the latest off the top of my head to be using it. Thanks for the update. I'm holding this and adding to my investment as price permits. Just hanging out for a good way to spend it

Unfortunately, I have to agree. Look at what CryptoAve has done for DigitalCoin. Nothing, other than distracting the Dev(s) from attending to what's important (i.e. the coin itself). https://www.cryptoave.com/ Since CryptoAve inception, DGC has lost over 80% of its value . . . and if we take into account the 3 months or so spent on trying to get it up and running before they actually eventually succeeded, we'd have to say that DGC has lost over 95% of its value from its Nov.-Dec. 2013 highs. Personally, my 2 cents say that an algo change is paramount ATM. Everything else can wait, we've got years before it's even going to be necessary to even think about PoS, for example, but the ASIC threat has got to be dealt with ASAP, and with a scrypt coin, the only option available is a hardfork algo change. There's no other option. And time is of the essence.

Could not agree more. The security of the coin is of utmost importance and should be the priority for now.
