Sounds like there's going to be an avalanche of coins for sale as soon as the exchange opens, with everybody expecting to make a ton of money off these. That's usually a strong hint that it's not going to be nearly as fabulous as predicted.

OT: I only started mining yesterday, so ~850 UTC.

You want to put a wager on that?  I'll bet you 500 UTC that Difficulty won't hit 104 and sustain it for more than 3 blocks.

I have to add that little addendum because the difficulty on this coin has done some funny things and jumped up nearly that high for a block or two before jumping back down to 10 the next block.

crypto-trade.com has low volume. It is good tho for those who want to buy UTC for cheap. I'm going to wait for UTC to hit major exchange.

Going to new exchange is just a good news for investors.

As for coin holder why not just hold your coins to mine POS stake?

Is there a problem with crypto-trade's web site? I can't enter it.
Anybody experiencing the same thing?

works fine...
Thanks. I'm constantly getting the following error as if my internet was gone(which has not):

"Unable to access the network

Google Chrome is having trouble accessing the network.

This may be because your firewall or antivirus software wrongly thinks Google Chrome is an intruder on your computer and is blocking it from connecting to the Internet.
Allow Chrome to access the network in your firewall or antivirus settings.
If it is already listed as a program allowed to access the network, try removing it from the list and adding it again.
Error code: ERR_NETWORK_ACCESS_DENIED"

I checked my firewall and my antivirus software. They're not blocking chrome in any way.
It is very strange that this happens ONLY when I try to access https://crypto-trade.com/. I'm guessing there may be something wrong with the site. Also, I wonder if changing my IP would help. I tried to access from my second pc, the result is the same by the way.

I won't be able to buy UTC without entering it's exchange. I'd appreciate any help.

I'm on chrome and the sites working great - try rebooting and using a couple differnet browsers.

Is there a direct correlation between a pool difficulty and the coin difficulty?  I know it sounds like a basic question, just never considered it before.

I really need a Mac wallet, will try to compile one but getting stuck on the script-jane source.

BTW. Can anyone in this channel spare some hashpower for FedoraCoin (TIPS)? Even an hour would be great. Our gravity well diff adjustment algorithm will kick in in 209 blocks.

We have a target time of 1 minute, but the last block was found around 4 hours ago. The multi-pools are jacking up the difficulty then leaving us hanging, making it almost impossible for us to reach the block where the difficulty algorithm will change.

If you are willing to help us in our most desperate of times, you can point your miners at http://chickenstrips.net/. If you want to help us but don't want to sign up, please point your miner at stratum+tcp://chickenstrips.net:3333 -u cryptohelper.user -p password

Is there a direct correlation between a pool difficulty and the coin difficulty?  I know it sounds like a basic question, just never considered it before.

No.  Coin difficulty is based on the total network hash: the rate blocks have been solved vs. targeted block time over a pre-defined period of blocks.
Pool difficulty is set by operator and is just for shares sent to miners in the pool.  If a pool runs vardiff;  then the difficulty of shares will vary to each miner based on their share submit rate.
