Hello Folks,
It would be great if you could put up a wanted section, where people could put up requests also, which would make the marketplace be able to find it right and steady stream of people. This would be very helpful for a lot traders like me. I have sources to get a large number of products, based on requirements, even wholesale. i am really interested in filling up your site with valuable products for sale. I am probably gonna create a poll hre based on your categories so I can fill up more products into it.
Cheers

Hey another idea would be to add a small link on the top right of the site. showing the number of products available.
That would be really awesome.
Cheers.

@ribuck, only a temp. error because I was updating the language file.
@Coin.Karma, good Idea, I will do that tomorrow. But now you can see an item counter for each category.
Improvements: - Fixed a bug that blocked the sending of payment notifications - Relist items for sold items is available again - Messages in the inbox that are related to an order are now marked with a link to the order page. But even when you reply from the message box the msg will appear on the order page from now on.

I (and I know others do also) really appreciate your hard work and quick responses on this project.

The bug where image uploads causes Chrome to hang is still there. I just uploaded this Guy Fawkes mask. When I tried to add another item, Chrome hanged on uploading the second picture. I have given up mining, so it can't be that.

I did contact you about the damaged watch and you said I could get compensation. You did not offer me a refund or a new watch. I was not going to negotiate with you about compensation. Either you offer me something (which you just did now) or you dont.
You got the neutral feedback after our conversation, so please don't lie on a public forum.
You should get neutral rep alone on the fact that the watch was send in an envelope of paper...
But sure, I guess a refund is never to late.
Check the dates on Bitmit. You left the neutral feedback on 2012-03-31, 10:24 am, and I sent the first message asking you what was wrong on 2012-03-31, 11:46 am. Leaving the neutral feedback was your first way of telling me there was something wrong with your purchase. You are correct that I offered you compensation. I could've stated more outright that you could have a refund. Anyway, if you want it now, please give me an address to send it to. About the shipping, as I said, costs are kept low by not using unnecessary packing material. And to be clear: The watch you received was not damaged in transit. It had a dent, but that was a manufacturing error. It was unfortunate that it wasn't discovered before the watch was sent to you.

A recent change seems to have made it impossible to bid on certain auctions. I get a message telling me to bid a higher amount, even though there are no other bids.

@bitco, I could not reproduce that bug but can you please try again. If it does not work please tell me the item/auction and your bid.
In the case that your bid is exactly the maximal bid of another use you get the "you have to bid a higher amount" message, too.
@GBTC, I will see to fix that.

Bitmit,
I tried to register on your site. Your mailer only attempts 1 mail delivery so anyone using greylisting will never get your registration mail.
Can you correct this and add some way to resend registration mails to your site?
Regards,
sd

What kind of mail daemon doesn't retry after a 4xx error? I suspect they use something like ssmtp to send mails and not a mail daemon. This problem is why I don't have an account on bitmit either and wrote about it earlier in this thread.

We will move to a new server soon, then the mail problem (greylisted ip) that some users have will be solved. I can manually activate your accounts but be aware that you wont receive any mails neither

New: By country separated Bitmit sites. Just choose your country from the dropdown you see on the right. If you are logged in the setting is saved, otherwise you get a cookie. You can change your default country in your user settings, too.

I just tried to change "Country" and "Time zone" on my profile, but it doesn't work. It shows the updating "circle" and nothing else. If I reload the page it shows the old values.
I'm using Chrome dev 21.0.1180.0. Is it a browser bug?

@finway, yes I can do that Give me only some time for creating such a stats page New: "Read" and "unread" orders- Orders can be "read" and "unread" for sellers. - New orders are "unread" by default - An order is set to "read" when the seller views the order page --> Number of unread orders is displayed next to the "sell area" link. --> Unread orders are styled bold in "Sold items" --> Buyers can instantly get their payment back if the seller has not read the order (if escrow is enabled) - Sellers can click "Accept" to refund the money earlier if a customer has requested an automatic escrow release Furthermore I migrated our Bitcoin server to a more stable, faster and secure one
