I've paused my ad campaigns for now, as I don't think many visitors will click through the expired SSL certificate warning. You need to fix this ASAP, "tosaki".

I've received an e-mail from Bitmit about account inactivity. I think there's an error somewhere, as I log in to my account every day.

Hello uk1,

Some minutes ago we sent you a mail which said that your items will be cancelled if you do not login within 48 hours. This does NOT effect your account because you were logged in recently.

We are sorry for this bug.

Best Regards,

Your Bitmit Team

Sorry for the ssl issue. We needed to submit validation documents that delayed the renewal process.

Update:
Time to get rid of old items from inactive sellers:
- Auto cancel of items from sellers who were not logged in since 6 weeks. They get notified by email 48 hours before the items will be cancelled --> Some users got a mail by mistake that they are effected. Not true, we sent them a second mail.

Such a clean up will be good!

I get a message saying "please log in" when I try to answer customer messages. I'm already logged in.

The error message I described above seems to happen when I click on the envelope icon on the top right to go to my inbox, select a message there and then click on the link "Click here to go to the order page". If I do that, I can't send a message from the order page, I get the "Please login" error.

However, if I go to the Sell area and click on an order from there, I can send a message from the order page. The difference seems to be the inclusion of "www" in the URL. Links from the sell area include "www", while links from the inbox does not.

How much are the fees for buying and selling on the site.  And is there a few for using escrow?

https://www.bitmit.net/en/info/faq
Our fee structure is amazingly simple. We only charge a commission of 1.90% the total price of every successful sale. Fees are automatically subtracted from your Bitmit account once payment is received. In order to cover the network side fees of Bitcoin we charge 0.001 Bitcoin for every outgoing transaction.

@support:

I want to get verified on the site, I've made a few orders which have gone to my home address, however I am very wary about giving out the full info from my passport.

Would you accept a scan (well high quality picture from my phone as no scanner) with the passport number partly covered up?
Also, as I live with my parents, the utility bills are in their name, would you accept a (photo scan) letter from my University or bank?

Thanks.

After being on this site for a very long time, I would reccommend this site to anyone who want's to sell their products/services for bitcoins.

It's very secure with the sites escrow service, have yet to have a problem with any transaction.

9/10.
