Be a angry kid elsewhere.

As soon as you stop being a Nazi here …

I see Bitcoin as a way to get banking to the less fortunate 99% of the world population and classifying somebody as a scammer for living on the wrong continent is what I want to question here.

So the coins are in escrow? What's your problem? How could he scam you out of these coins if they are in escrow? If you think this is to launder some stolen funds (is he buying stuff that can be turned into cash easily? gold or dollars maybe?) you may invite bitmit to check the origin of the funds for some known frauds and while this would still be racist, your trade partner wouldn't need to know about it but as I said before, these coins are at bitmit regardless of the escrow being released to your Nigger or being paid to you as the release from escrow will not happen with the exact same coins.

FYI: Nigeria has 170 million citizens. Also you might want to read about this.

good to know your service is deemed worthy to DDOS Smiley

Guess your margins are enough to counter it and hope you are back soon. … uhm, here you are very online.

tosaki I miss a word from you regarding the doubts in escrow dinogenes stated over and over. You as a service provider have to make clear how you will deal with escrow. If it is not 100% sure that in cases where there is no doubt I shipped the good, you will side with me, what would escrow be good for?

We refund buyers:
- If seller has not viewed the order
- If seller has not set the order status to shipped and does not respond within 48 hours after we have prompted him to reply
- If buyer requests automatic release and seller does not deny within 7 days
- If we have clear evidence or strongly assume that the seller acts fraudulent

We release bitcoins to the seller:
- If the tracking id says that the package were received and buyer disappears / does not reply anymore after a time frame of 48hours after we prompted him to reply
- If the seller requests automatic release and buyer does not deny within 7 days
- If we have clear evidence or strongly assume that the buyer is a scammer or acts fraudulent

We are always taking many other factors into account we don't want to make public. You can be sure that this process is not based on arbitrary decisions. Feedback of our users should have made this clear, too. If the dispute case is unclear and we really cannot identify who is in right we would not release the btcs to anyone of course but that's not our goal.

[Bitmit bounties]

Best solution wins.

Graphic: Create a nice "instant delivery" and "free shipping" icon - 0.3 BTC
- It should fit to the specific item page and to the item listing preview (e.g. https://www.bitmit.net/zh-cn/local)
- File type: Vector svg type or gimp image so we are able to update the text to various translations
- Should fit to the current Bitmit style of course

Coding: Regular expression for bitcoin address - 0.3 BTC
We need a regular expression to be able to detect bitcoin addresses in messages and item listings. (So we are able to detect fraudulent activities which try to avoid the escrow system).

Are you looking for a 12x12 icon (or something of that size), or a larger graphic that can be used as is, as well as scaled down to 12x12?

What language are you using? There are often small differences in the way they handle regular expressions.

edit: here is my proposal http://pastebin.com/3FCpgCYf

It's not going to validate the address but you can't do it in a regular expression.

Now, people could cheat and add spaces, dots, to fool the system and say "remove the dots and spaces", but that would look really fishy. I see a way but not with only a regular expression as you probably would have too many false positives.

We need it in PHP. If it can't be done with pure regular expression we might combine it with a less strict regular expression + a bitcoin address validation we already have so we don't get any false positives.

12x12 is quite small I think. Of course a non-text icon would be neat but I think it is hard to find one that makes it really clear. It would be nice if we can put the icons next to each other in one line. Line-height would look good I think

Personally I think Bitmit is huge and will be the next Ebay and possibly beyond within the next decade. Ebay was like this during the early years as well

Personally the longer it takes Bitmit to morph into eBay II the better. Obviously you can recognise dodgy listings so I suggest you simply refrain from bidding on them.
