Sorry that it takes longer than expected to bring the site back online. We are forced  by our hoster to setup ddos protection service and hoster is setting up relocation of server.

Sucks to hear this but hopefully it will mean that this won't happen again! Wink Hope it's back up soon though!

I see a lot of talk about lost bit coins. Does no one print receipts? It is just common sense to keep copies of all financial transactions on hard copies. You never know when you will need them.

How would a receipt help you in this case? An international website has "an amount" of a digital currency held in escrow, but the website is inaccessible. I fail to see your point.

So its been over 24h. This must be a massive DDOS considering the site is not even online anymore. Wink

Bitmit was probably null routed by their host.
