Yeah, good question:  CEX (GHASH.io) only?

We had been CEX/Ghash only ourselves (myself and partner) for the first 1.0x btc mined.  We *just* switched to BTCguild and are pleasantly surprised.  Better payouts.

This space kept free of spammage, scammage, begging and affiliate linking

Done, working fine Smiley
Thanks Smiley

I knew ghash.io had problems last night but it was working about 20mins later.
And I am using that as I believe I earn more from an Antminer.

Is it working full speed?

Now no, the server is dead but usually yeah, I get crazy speeds of 200GH+ without overclocking.
Plus the merged mining (even tho they don't worth much) is still something extra Wink

Any news why is down?
They seems to work only 2Pth at this moment.

Nope, I don't have any news at the mo.
I have switched to btcguild as I can't waste time without mining.

CEX stil lhas problems
i can not get my BTC out now

Are you mining at cex only?
i was only on CEX
moved off now
i have 1.36 BTC now STUCK on CEX
i also have .0303 in the pending pile  now thats gone
so i have lost that now
i think i have lost over .15 BTC now today maybe more

Ghash is not a good pool to mine on. Yes they charge 0% fee to make miners to join thinking they are getting a good deal.
Initially they said they charged 0% fee and mined for fun, but in actual fact they kept the merged mining rewards.

Ghash is unstable, it provides much down time

servers changed without warning creating more down time

despite your 0% fee, they don't pay for orphans which generally is above 2% per week ,Orphans for ghash last week = 2.83%

Do the network and yourself a favor and mine else where

So which pool would you recommend and why?

p2pool for decentralization, or bitparking for merge mining. (p2pool can also be set up to merge mine)

I've been using Eligius, zero fees, has merged mining for Namecoins @ 105%, no downtime since I started with them a couple weeks back.

ghash.io set the diff abnormally high, I had 256-2048 diff as reported by cgminer on S1 . Tested it for on an single S1 a while ago. 0.17btc on ghash vs 0.22btc on btcguild/eligius during the same time period. No idea if they fixed it now but with the razor-thin margins with mining I  don't really feel like testing it anymore.

I noticed this today when at night servers was down for 10 hours.I thought they fixed that.
Enough is enough with big pools like ghash,Now i moved to btcguild.

LOL... I wasn't commenting on your sentence, but about saying you were done with big pools so you're moving from the biggest with 29% of the network to the second biggest with 24% of the network. Smiley

Yeah it's silly. Set up a p2pool node or join a public p2pool node. Or join some other smaller pool. Smiley

Variance is too risky with the rate of difficulty increase to use a smaller pool.

Variance isn't "risk", just variance in when you get paid. You won't make less income on a smaller pool. You'll just get larger payouts less often, instead of on a big pool where you get tiny payouts very often.
