I want to officially let you know that your pictures of the silver rounds don't do them justice at all.

I tried to catch their shineyness a bit.
Absolutely gorgeous. I wish I had a few of my own!

Donations are welcome!

My 1 btc casascius coin just arrived! This is high quality and I'll probably buy more. Processing and shipping only took 12 days.

CASASCIUS, How does the pricing on your site work? Is there a script, or do you manually update it? I want to get the BTC10 silver round bitcoin, but $91(BTC6.3) just for the coin seems a bit high.

It is a script I manually update, and I just did it (woke up to some nice upswing!)

Companies claiming they got hacked and lost your coins sounds like fraud so perfect it could be called fashionable.  I never believe them.  If I ever experience the misfortune of a real intrusion, I declare I have been honest about the way I have managed the keys in Casascius Coins.  I maintain no ability to recover or reproduce the keys, not even under limitless duress or total intrusion.  Remember that trusting strangers with your coins without any recourse is, as a matter of principle, not a best practice.  Don't keep coins online. Use paper or hardware wallets instead.

I just got the silver one with the gold trim and a 25 and a bunch of 1's and 5's.   All really nice, but I sure do love that silver one.   Next on the list, 1000 btc gold coin.. lulz.. may have to wait a while.. Wink

Great job on the coins Casascius, really happy with them.

It is slightly bigger than a US Quarter... I believe the actual dimensions are on the site.

I ordered some 1 BTC coins to check out the quality for myself. How long does it normally take for an order to be confirmed?

I send the money on the 22nd of August, but have not received any confirmations in email. How does casascius work?

I just got back from a week in Hawaii.  If I am traveling, I usually won't announce it.  Pretty much everything has either gone out today, or will go out today.

Mike, man, this thing is beautiful! (Silver with gold BTC) Looks much nicer than the rounds I buy from some of the top dealers around the net. And, very fast shipping (ordered Aug 27th, received Aug 30th). Thank you!

whoever's going to the bitcoin conference, I'm selling 1 BTC (series 1, I believe) coins on bitmit for delivery in person at the conference. So if someone wants one, check the thread: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=102959, I'll be listing the auctions there for easier access.

It would be nice to have the silver, silver/gold and gold coins for display at the conference. Is anybody bringing some?
