I have tried coinmine vs a couple of the other pools. 1 rig of 3 R9 290s 3 days each pool rotating over a couple of pools.

I get slightly more profit from a couple of the other pools than with coinmine. not sure why.

The grue lurks in the darkest places of the earth. Its favorite diet is adventurers, but its insatiable appetite is tempered by its fear of light. No grue has ever been seen by the light of day, and few have survived its fearsome jaws to tell the tale.

Ok, so we had some great entries for the 2-5 sentence layman's explanation of DarkSend. In the end I went with TanteStefana's submission, since it's pitched at newbies, is to the point & concise:

Quote
DarkSend is an integrated technology inside DarkCoin that protects privacy by pooling like-sized payments and by hiding who paid whom.   This blocks the pattern-seeking detection methods that are used to break privacy by making them too difficult and expensive to pursue.  The developers of DarkCoin and DarkSend believe they offer users the best possible privacy protection available to any crypto-currency.

TanteStefana, PM me your darkcoin wallet address and I'll send the bounty through!

Very good! I think we should all be careful to remember the following though.

It's Darkcoin (with a small c) and DarkSend (with a capital S).

We need to be consistent with all our copy.

There are more coins per miner when a block is found in a smaller pool.

Using sgminer 4.1.0.

-g 2 -w 64 -I 13 --lookup-gap 2 --thread-concurrency 8191 --gpu-memclock 1650 --gpu-engine 1175 --temp-target 75 --temp-overheat 80 --temp-cutoff 85 --gpu-fan auto --failover-only --expiry 1 --scan-time 1 --queue 0 --no-submit-stale

Coinmine should increase fee to reduce its hashing power. With more than 50% hashing power belongs to Coinmine, the price of the coin cannot be increased.

Ok,
so you have a rig of R9 290.

I offer 30 Darkcoin to someone abble to fix the problem of loosing MH on R9 290 after 10 minutes.

I offer on the other topic 30 Darkcoin Bounty to solve that problem, a nobody has a clue, but I get in touch with other that had the same problem.

Here is the facts:
I have 3 different R9 290, other people has 6 290 of other brand, after 10 minutes, the cards looses 10% of Hash.
That probelm happend only on R9 290 cars.
I'm on Bamt 1.6 from Bajawa, He is on windows 7, same problem.
All 290 on the same rig experiment the loss in the exact same second
if you put another card in the rigg that is not a 290, all the 290 had a loss, but not the other card
The cards are cold.
The problem happenedonly with sph-darkcoin miner, if I mine Litecoin, I'm stable.
I split the cards with 2 PSU, does not change a thing, cards crashed at the same time, no matter what psu they are plugged.
I change motherboard, does not change a thing.
I run 4 different sgminer, each one with one card activated: even I did launch them with a delay of 3 minutes, 10 minutes later, all the instance with a 290 had a 10% lossat the same time
I launched sgminer without a .conf: only intensity in the parameters: happened with I:18 and I:21 (0% rejected, cards should worked with high intensity)
Once I got the loss only a cold reboot can recover the missing hash. If I mine restart only the miner, it restart but is capped to 90% of max hashrate.

I'm getting out of hints. If the problem is in the programm, I shoud stop wasting my time. If it is not, I will keep investigate, even if I think I already get pretty far.
PS: as usual, english is not my first languagae, so if I offensed any-one, it was not intended. Wink

So could you tell me if you run your miner on BAMT?
If yes, what exact image of BAMT did you get, what exact settings did you use, and what exact modifications did you do?
I assume you did not suffer the bug where you loos 0.2Mhs after 10 minutes?

i assume you checked to make sure your mem clock didnt fault back to 150
that happens to me if i try to tweak the settings too far and the only way to fix it is a reboot

Ok, so yes, I already noticed my memory switch from 150 to 1250 from time to time.
I was pretty sure it did that from the start, and not only after a while.

EDIT:
On my web UI, I refreh every seconds, and from the beginning (2.2Mh) the memory setting switch constantly from 1250 to 150.
After a while, I have a drop (2.0Mh), and the memory keep switching from 150 to 1250.

PS: I don't know if it's connected, but on the web UI my voltage is always 0 for my 290.

If you have a Sapphire try TriXX (https://www.sapphireselectclub.com/ssc/TriXX/) to ajust the memory clock.

Update:

We are almost done with coding there are some delays but nothing that will hold us up for much longer. We are setting up some servers right as we speak and we should have a forum back up soon. Once coding is done we start on Graphics Design/HTML/CSS. We are committed to proving the best most pleasant most secure user experience possible.

Also we made the decision to add AnonCoin to our accepted payment options.

Yes it's for windows. Check if there is a similar software solution for linux or if it's necessary to flash your GPU.

@badman74 solution above seems better with the config.

Alright let's make this the project of the day Smiley (fixing boubou's problems)

What brand is it? I am with Kal here, a BIOS flash may be necessary here.

Saphire R9 290 the model with the one fan. I have 3 of them, same problem. I'm in touch with some guy on windows 7 that has 6 of them (different brand but same design), and has the same problem too.

I can flash any-bios you advise to.

It's 3 weeks now that I'm stuck with this issue.

Strange thing is I did not get a crash, I just have a 10% loss on hashrate, and remain stable with this hashrate.
If I restart the miner only, I did not recover the 10%. If I shutdown the computer, I recover the 10% and I'am stable for 10 minutes...then it starts again.
