Just though some would find it interesting to hear what happened from one of the lurking miners that was around early. There is too much noise trying to distort the truth, I see they even are trying to twist what I said. Probably get some more direct attacks next. At least they are predictable.
Thank you for sharing your history with us. You provided facts to back up your story. Much appreciated! funny how he started saying this after i posted that Evan first mentioned masternodes in Feb 21, 2014 up thread... Statements like this are why I pointed out you just twist what I am saying. In my original post I indicated I had masternodes for a while, it was not a response to you. Stop giving yourself so much credit. Nothing I originally posted was intended for you or any others that spin a fairy tale of demons and dark wizards. It was meant as a reflection for those interested in truth. Pretty sure you're feeling that knife in your stomach for not holding onto any of that right now and probably for the next few days (pretty sure you've been crying yourself to sleep lol).
Good luck being a masternode, it'll just set you back around $44k at current prices.
Nope, not at all, my post was not for a pity party or sympathy. As I mentioned I am happy with my choices. I sold coins to cover initial bills, sold some for profit and kept some for well past when masternodes started before selling that for some profit. I am not going to live in the past, just look forward towards what to do next. Just though some would find it interesting to hear what happened from one of the lurking miners that was around early. There is too much noise trying to distort the truth, I see they even are trying to twist what I said. Probably get some more direct attacks next. At least they are predictable. all i did was highlight what you said...i don't see any twisting of words here like saying that "it was easy to mine, anyone can do it" but you also said that people are complaining about your hashrate....so it was not easy and not anyone can do it. so any screen shot of the exchange records that shows your sell of DASH (masternodes amount) with the dates. You have shown there is no point in engaging you further, as I shown above you already twisted and lied about what I initially posted. You have no interest in the truth so we remain at an impasse. okay let's leave that issue...here is a more important question, are you mining in the first 48 hours of Xcoin launch?

I must be frank about the technology because we really need innovation that help us reach the goals of crypto and not just half-assed tech from guys who design schemes to siphon off the capital of crypto into their pockets. And again I have studied the SEC regulations and all these marketing to speculators is clearly a violation of the Howey test for being an unregistered illegal investment security. It doesn't matter how you've obfuscated it by pretending the masternodes are in control, the Supreme Court has consistently said that the test overlooks any attempts to obfuscate the economic reality of the situation. Then on top of that is the evidence of deception with the premine and the advertised money supply protocol being altered ex post facto, etc.
And afaik you are a USA citizen, so thus you incur the maximum culpability.
no wonder vertoe left darkcoin is not decentralized as it still relies on a single person. and this reaches deep into the code base.
the things going on here are fishy, intransparent and rely on a single entity.
i will get out and and will contribute to something decentralized and anonymous. i always hoped darkcoin could fill that void. i cant blame anyone to stay with this project. you are probably investors trying to win a gold donkey. or you are simply trying to exploit every possible vector of profit in the coins space. whatever. you are not here because darkcoin is something it claims to be.
Evan's speculator mining operation hit a rich vein of new bagholders this week. Evan is mining Ver's million-ounce deposit of anti-Core butthurt, and perhaps a few gullible first world anarchists as well. This is a pretty good update on the story. I must remark that the ability to manipulate the FOMO ignorance of speculators with irrelevant hype is the hallmark of a system where the insiders have worked out some "I'll scratch your back, if you scratch mine" deal. Such deals are possible because the system is not decentralized, but in actuality the private fiat system of those who are profiting off the ability to offer special deals because of the insider control over the money supply and ongoing issue of the money supply.
In short, "Evan Inc" in all likelihood made a deal with Roger Ver and Casey Research. Everybody gets paid off with your money. More dumb "greater fools" money is drawn in, rinse, repeat, and everybody is happy.
What they've done is brought the pink sheets mining stocks corruption (which Casey Research is intimately involved with) into our ecosystem.
Speculation markets are ruled top-down. The only way to move away from "mining the speculators" is to trump them in the adoption market.

So we're assuming he bought at the alltime high yesterday? And bitcoin has never had any volatility either? My understanding is that Roger had diversified out of bitcoin into several alts (including DASH) before Anarchapulco. He's probably sitting on some nice profits right now, even after the drop.
Added Willie Woo to the Roger Ver pwned list along with Tone Vays. http://disq.us/p/1go6cmiRoger Ver • 10 minutes ago William should be embarrassed that he wrote this article. If he had bothered to check with me, he would have known I bought Dash at several months ago due to my concerns over Bitcoin Core's intentional destruction of the utility of Bitcoin for use as a payment network. I've made a small fortune by holding Dash, and I've had a MUCH larger percentage gain on my Dash holdings than Bitcoin over the same time period. My heart belongs to Bitcoin, but as a rational investor I'm terrified of Core's road map.

That was a very good neutral account of Dash. Of course he is slightly skewed toward Dash. But he does bring up his personal concerns. I hope someone in the dash higher up takes notice.

Is there any place that shows number of transactions / volume based on localisation ? I think that would be interesting to see how much this volatility is coming from US vs EU vs CH Well, we have this : http://listen.masternode.io/But thats not what you are looking for i think, still i find it rather cool. Note : beside the visuals it also has all kind of sounds, deeper sounds come with larger amounts. Just keep it running in the background for a few minutes and you will start noticing the transactions. I call it the sound of money Hello new block by the way... **** credits : UdjinM6 ****

So we have just bumped to 0.12.1.3? I have not seen any announcements yet but I got a warning from Dashcentral that my client was old.
Just a heads up for all who might want to upgrade.

Dash added to Bitfinex !!Thank you FandangledGizmo (--> https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1233119.msg18054378#msg18054378) https://www.bitfinex.com/ That is one major exchange for free (Bitfinex), and one major exchange (unknown at this moment) still to go .....Now i know many of you will be having mixed feelings about this, but i like to think of this as a recognition of Bitfinex that they made a mistake by de-listing Dash in the past. In other words it is a compliment to our dev-team and perhaps even to our whole community.

Based on what's written in the changelog nothing. The protocol version did not change. The most important change is a "bug in IS/IX processing code which may cause a peer to crash under certain circumstances". Because of this bug, it's highly recommended (as flare wrote: MUST) for any 24/7 running nodes to update. And well, for others as well

incoming transactions on poloniex DASH for 12-13 min Monero 17-18 min Decred 19-20 min Eth 9-10 min bicoin ( with '' zero confirmation'' ) 30-40 min
think that with the lapping and polishing of platforms and systems drift Deposit on different resources this time to be reduced by half, the eth can be up to 1-2 minutes, but bitcoin so stay with 30 minutes, on the condition not to play "dirty games"
