Correction is finally coming:
Take a look at 2014 pattern its the same:

I think we will see some cheap dash soon, so we might have another occasion to buy from this descending triangle in the coming days.

I dunno, It's so much faster this time, and seems more volatile?  I just don't think you can find a pattern to follow in crypto - or more so, it's illusionary.  I just don't think it's safe to assume where Dash is going, since it keeps surprising us.

Also, well, I am a total Dash cheerleader, so take my thoughts with that in mind, but Dash has been ignored a really long time.  I honestly believe that Dash should have AT LEAST the market cap of Ethereum IF Ethereum really has the potential of real life use that Dash has.  I think the Ethereum project is very interesting, but not nearly as amazing as Dash, nor with the same potential.  So I think what you're really seeing in the charts are the foothills and there will be no big retrace, just little breathers / platos.  But who knows?  Speculation is fun though Cheesy

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=999886.0 Has that been dealt with "ad nauseam in this thread"?

Debunked hundreds of times? How difficult would it be for you to post some links. After all, with "hundreds" of cases, I'm sure it wouldn't take you but 30 seconds.

Yes, it has been dealt with ad nauseam in this thread that you have obviously not even attempted to partially read. It has been discussed more than the 1 million+ Bitcoin satoshimine and monero cripplemined fastmine  put together.
It was in fact dealt with hundreds of times alone in the link you just posted but also did not bother to read. It's much easier to repeat headline FUD than to actually take the time to investigate the facts for yourself. Read all the facts then come back in a few days if you still have questions.

I think DASH is amazing, and it might be a great investment when the price stabilizes somewhere around 2-5x electricity cost of mining (I believe 15-30$), technology is great and might be a thing in the next 3-4 years. But it is certainly not now. We need to see proof that this is happening, feel secure about it and spikes and dumps are not helping to assure it's worth and this is basically the only problem I can see. I think this will hurt people who bough recently and will not see any returns for these 2-3 years when whole project will kick in (and I hope it will).

Does anyone understand this post? It must be so brilliant that mere mortals like me haven't a clue. Yes, that MUST be it . . . considering the source. Oh, I forgot, I haven't read or researched anything.  Cheesy  Cheesy  Cheesy

Nice to see you're all finally trying to offer up old, tired and unsuccessful explanations though. About time. Too bad it's a dollar short and a day late though.

With this much I do agree: you will get your just due. No doubt about it. Not a question of if, but when.

Nice bait'n'switch, HR. What does "HR" actually stand for? Hand-Receptacle?

"Oooh you don't have any explanations! You are scammers!"

"Wait what, you do? Umm... well not good enough, you're scammers!"

What a retard.

Meanwhile Dash remains strong and resilient on its throne reigning from 45 miles up in the sky over all alt- and shitcoins. And there's nothing you can do about it. How does that make you feel? Sad? Angry? Furious? Butthurt? All of that? You missed out. Big time. Your loss. Read the charts and weep.

Anyone that still uses Dash instamine history from three years ago to attack Dash has ran out of valid arguments against Dash
and should really re-think their own strategy on how to attack Dash best.

It basicly puts them in the trolls minor league.

It's not bait and switch. It's the truth. That's the way the [real] world works. But I'm not going to go on and explain everything to you now am I? You think I'm going to educate scammers for free? nope, they are creatures created to shill for DASH. some existed around the time of Xcoin inception.

I've been studying these creatures for a while now, and documented some of them here DASH - Love at first sight user accounts [Looking Beyond the Hype] ...

if you find them to be disturbing...it's their nature ..just giving a heads up here Wink

Dash De-anonymization Contest

Icebreaker and other trolleros: I have donated $1 to Monero's development team. I sent 0.25 Dash (TX ID: 59d51690d4b56ddbf1e393fa8d3a49bcfc3247f270f36be3b6ee411802666cba-000) to shapeshift.io, which converted it to Bitcoin and sent it to the official Monero donation address listed at https://getmonero.org/getting-started/donate/.

I challenge you to de-anonymize this transaction. To make it just a little easier, I only used four rounds of Darksend, so it's exponentially less private than it would be with the maximum eight rounds.

Please tell me what address this transaction originated from.

Cheers!

Icebreaker, could you ask the Monero dev team to refund my 0.25 DASH that I donated last year? One year later, and that $1 donation is now worth $10.96, and I'd really like it back.

Cheers!

I used to think that the instamine was a bad thing, but now I'm really glad it happened. Three years ago, Evan Duffield quit a six figure job to work full time on Dash. Do you really think he would have stuck around if he didn't have a decent stake in the project? Because the instamine happened, Dash (then Xcoin) was effectively worthless in the beginning and Evan was able to buy his coins on the cheap.

If he really was a scammer planning to dupe all us knaves, then he's the worst scammer in history. What scammer works nonstop for 3+ years developing a project, when he had the opportunity to dump all his coins in May 2014 for an enormous profit? It doesn't even make any sense, folks.

yes it was a bad thing, it was not an accident, there was information blackout and he had motive to do that as stated here DASH Masternodes - the perfect motive for the instamine ..

so he and his friends accumulated outrageous amounts of coins....he didn't dupe their inner circle all right  Wink , which some of them are actively shilling DASH from early 2014 to present.

I have no idea what I'm saying and i cut and paste out of the shared google docs monero FUD share.

I'm out of my league

You are a feisty one today.

Shame you have no idea what you are talking about, you might finally become self-aware on how embarrassed we are for you and your community.

Thanks Ceti for mentioning Arielhole. Geez  Wink

Arielhole Yes...instamine was brilliant.  In fact...its now my belief that any successful coin must either premine or instamine to actually fuel a full dev team and a full blown project.  We are creating a system to compete with fiat...not a crypto nerd token. Gone are the days when Bitcoin started when no one really knew what or where this was all going.

To create a system that will compete with any real money system will take 10's of millions of dollars in development and foundation building.  It will take millions of dollars to actually fuel properly.  You don't attempt what DASH is trying to do with childish dice games on shady gambling sites, donations or what ever charity one can cook up.

Instamined or Ninja Mined and even Premined...is a must.

Now Is Evan a wealthy man now?...damn straight.  I'd rather be a lined with a successful developer and project leader.

Besides...if you don't like this...start your own unicorn commie coin with all its socialistic attributes.  Please report back to us on how that is working out for you.

PS Arielhol.   Please don't respond, as you know your on ignore. Wink

Looking at the long queue of 40K unconfirmed transactions currently affecting Bitcoin, https://blockchain.info/unconfirmed-transactions how can Dash prepare for a sudden influx of transactions in the size of the Bitcoin network?

I am of course aware of our block time of 2.5 minutes, and the decision to increase the block size to 2MB should this be necessary. This would provide almost a 8x increase of the capacity compared to the Bitcoin network and that is great. But then what? I admit to not be fully up to speed with the coming features of evolution, but are there measures to increase the transaction capacity by utilizing the masternode tier in some fashion?

If most transactions were an InstantSend transaction, this would not increase the transaction throughput per say, but it would get the funds around faster as the transaction would be confirmed and the receiver would at least have the perception that the network is working efficiently. Besides InstantSend, are there other blockchain implementations being addressed to help make Dash a true global digital cash with a capacity that can rival VISA/Mastercard/Paypal?

I used to think that the instamine was a bad thing, but now I'm really glad it happened.

You used to know better, but the cult propaganda (aided by your own greed) wore down your common sense until it succumbed to the irrational DashNation hivemind narrative.  (Never mind that same hivemind used to deny the Instamine even happened.)

"How I Learned to Stop Worrying and Love the Instamine" sounds like Stockholm Syndrome.

What scammer works nonstop for 3+ years developing a project?

Bernie Madoff ran his Ponzi in plain sight for 30 years before it was busted.  Perhaps Duffield is also being protected by people on the inside?

On March 12, 2009, Madoff pleaded guilty to 11 federal felonies and admitted to turning his wealth management business into a massive Ponzi scheme. The Madoff investment scandal defrauded thousands of investors of billions of dollars. Madoff said he began the Ponzi scheme in the early 1990s. However, federal investigators believe the fraud began as early as the mid-1980s[16] and may have begun as far back as the 1970s.
