Dash now is quite stable above 0.035 btc, which is good for the future, I didn't expect Dash can be pumped to 0.03 btc even hit the new ATH 0.048 btc. Amazing performance.

Yesterday at 16:17PM UTC a DDoS attack against Masternodes in Dash’s P2P network began, originating from around 2,000 IPs based in Asia. Are Chinese LTC miners angry so they attacked with DDoS? Dash won't be destroyed, LTC is 5th-6th in market cap. Dash=future.

It's very surprising seeing the price at this level, Dash somewhat proving all the doubters wrong for the past three years.

I had 1K dash stolen from me 2 years ago :\ That sad..., running masternode need 1k dash deposit is on a very high risk No risk at all. My MN funds are on a trezor. Before that, I kept them off line in a jump drive / cold storage. When update the masternode software, should i have to re-enable the cold wallet online to make the remote masternode work again? how the network know the 0 dash remote masternode have 1k dash? If you update your masternode software within 1 hour you do not need to restart the masternode from your cold wallet. You simply update the masternode to the new code, start it on the VPS and you are good to go. It takes just a couple of minutes for the most time. Even less if you use some helping tools like Dashman. If you take more than an hour, a new start masternode command must be initialized from the cold wallet. The masternode points to a transaction showing it holds control of a 1000 Dash collateral and that it has the private keys to the address. Thanks for your replied, i am going to setup a masternode, just need to buy 300 more dash..

Hello to all! As you know there will be huge announcement soon about Bitcoin ETF. So if Bitcoin ETF gets rejected i will be looking for alternatives to invest as hedge.
Could you please help me to decide that why i should invest in Dash instead of other altcoins? Including Ethereum etc? I really need some reasons to heavily invest in dash but it would be amazing if you guys write me or send me some links which gives reasons to buy dash.
Thanks!
Here is some of the latest news....Is there any news that just pushed the price past 33 USD ? +15% +20% against BTC in a few minutes ?? Successful fork to 12.1.2 Sentinel, next fork will be Evolution! Major Exchange Integration in few weeks Dash partnership with BlockPay Dash partnership with BlockCypher Wall of Coins Integration complete New Dash offices at ASU Skysong. Amanda B Johnson marketing Dash and getting noticed by long time Bitcoiners + Cryptopulco talk soon. Dash added to General Bytes ATM Machines
Evolution development is full steam ahead.Another good one to add to my collection. This is huge and could potentially lead to purse.io, coinbase and many others integrating Dash!!! More Great news...I'm really glad to see that the law firm we've employed to research our compliance with US law is nearing completion. Quoting Daniel: "Many of our investors have been following this project closely and I can give you an advance by saying that the results of the research are very positive for masternode operators and they should not be concerned about any liability as the result of the transactions they relay or the mixing sessions they host under US law. Please give us a few days to process this information and prepare an official communication for the community." Updates are posted here: https://www.dash.org/forum/threads/legal-research-marco-santori-cooley-llp.12691/ Also, please note: Daniel posted previously that they wouldn't be able to post the original memos, but that is no longer the case. When the memo is completed, they will be posted directly, so that everyone can view them, not through a filter of the Dash Foundation. So please don't worry about that. Daniel is very busy and said he'll update the post eventually. The core team are really working like busy bees!

Hi Miko, the instructions different users gave you were very precise at this point people may start to wonder if you are just concern trolling. No offense really but this is part of the crypto culture. I feel that you need some live support from someone local. If you tell us where you are from or at least your native language maybe we can get a trusted member to answer your questions in your native language. I also recommend joining the Dash Nation Slack, they are great at helping people there and is easier to have chat than on the forum format. Please follow this advice so we know you really need help.

So I heard iCEHOLE and his aSSBREAKING buddies are preparing to "troll Dash on the protocol level". When's it gonna start, iCEY? Wait, what... it already happened?!?LOLYou see, your protocol trolling is exactly the same as your forum trolling: A pathetic failure. Thanks for the free stress test. Well... free for us Meanwhile Dash still holding strong above 40 USD. You mad? Call it a stress test, then run to your firewalls and vps providers, the simple truth is nodes(centralized attack vectors) that can be directly attacked.... Seriously? My nodes showed elevated cpu and bandwidth, but chugged along nicely. That wasn't even that bad a DDOS attack. However, it does show how important it is to run your node on minimum (that's all I have) specs. Only a couple of hundred out of 4000 nodes were caught off guard. Frankly, I think most of those that went offline were due to confused MN owners who were checking the DashNinja site. DashNinja had it's own nodes down, and when you checked on your node, it showed as having a closed port. So I suspect many MN owners, unfortunately, stopped their nodes and messed around trying to get them to show up as open long enough that they were kicked out of the MN list. Actually, there is a lesson to be learned here aside from giving your MN the minimum specs, that is to check your MN against several nodes to see if they "see" you, not just one place. Dash Central was showing everything up and running. Take the time to check and double check and wait even because if you issue a restart on your locally funded wallet, you just sent yourself to the back of the line Anyway, I expect this was just a little DDOS and that bigger ones are to come. These things only strengthen us. and BTW, this attack clearly showed how strong our MN network is. so your comment above is pretty funny. YES my comments are funny, I intended them to be, but some of the responses above are TRAGIC. The Masternodes network (I use all letters not MN so people know what Im talking about) held up pretty good. FACT. Another fact is Ddos attacks can be a preparation for future bigger attacks, but also to mask other malicious actions. 200 Masternodes were affected by this. Do you really want to trust in a network that might have some of its nodes compromised?? especially when anonymous transactions run throug those Masternodes?? I have to trust my anonymity to Masternodes operators that might have a vulnerable system?? Meanwhile keep flashing the numbers and price figures, let insatiable collective greed blind you to the obvious, yeah lets keep pursuing the too big to fail mentality!P.S. of course I dont use my real account, dont need 300milion endangered marketcap coming at me

Cool, nice report. More MNs than I thought were affected Great Incident Report and very good that it is shared with everyone. Good for Dash to get this kind of experience. We can be thankful for that to the ones who set this attack up. Dash can practise and prepare for the bigger challenges that are ahead. However, I think it's really disappointing that people would put so much resources in trying to frustrate something good. I sincerely feel sorry for them, if you resort to shit like that, there obviously isn't something postive in their lives that is worth putting that time, energy and resources into.

How much could such an attack cost them? I do not know, but my guess is that it probably isn't too expensive given that kids pull these kind of stunts on each others Minecraft gaming sessions all the time. Also the fact that the DDOS was pretty easy to mitigate might imply that the attackers were not too serious, more of a blunt syn-flooding attack.

How much could such an attack cost them? I can only say "Thank you", as this gave me motivation to read a bit about ufw and fail2ban and set it up on each of my masternodes. It is funny to watch the fail2ban log file now
