You should not change the name IMHO, i love the name darkcoin, and i think DASH is a terrible name. I think Darkcoin is one of the best names in all of cryptocurrency in my opinion, I also think we should not pander to such conservatism. Poeple that are scared of the name Darkcoin should try and be more open minded and try to be less judgemental IMHO. It is just a name after all, a great name  |

Just a hint: Litecoin's volume on many chinese exchanges, which I know is what you're referring to, is faked. Many of those exchanges have 0% trading fees, so users just use bots and trade back and forth with themselves to create the illusion of volume. Also, the name "dark" coin" in Mandarin(Chinese) is not Devilcoin. Whoever told you that is "FUDing"/lying. 75% of the volume of LTC comes from OKCoin and they charge trading fees, another 20% from BTCe. And no I am not lying the Kanji used to name Darkcoin is exactly that. You can check with Alexy who maintains our Chinese board on DCT or Tungfa who is in Asia and manages a lot of the PR there. |
