Furthermore, if you think the famous individual is Otoh I have to disagree with it, because he is mostly really transparent about his actions.

Indeed.

Maybe it's his pal, to whom he sold a pile of Dash, carrying out a precision liquidation of 1013 Dash every 90 minutes  Cheesy

Did you say 1,013 every 90 minutes? How many of these? BTW - all these nonsense trades of 0.05147962 DASH etc., these are robots? Where are they coming from?

could these dumps perhaps be from Bitfinex ? dumping any leftover Dash they still had in possession onto Cryptsy ?

Not possible. As per https://www.bitfinex.com/pages/announcements/?id=49, Bitfinex allows you to withdraw your coins until midnight UTC on September 30, 2015. In addition:

Quote
After removal, any darkcoins not withdrawn will be moved to a separate wallet controlled by Bitfinex, requiring users to contact support to claim any remaining funds.

So seems like they won't sell off anything.

i'm not talking about user restrictions, i'm talking about the exchange itself perhaps dumping the last of the Dash reserves onto other exchanges (in this case dumping it on the exchange with the largest volume)

Each block is stacked on top of the previous one. Adding another block to the top makes all lower blocks more difficult to remove: there is more "weight" above each block. A transaction in a block 6 blocks deep (6 confirmations) will be very difficult to remove.

Normally all of the DASH they have would be accounted for, so all of the DASH still left in cold storage should be of the users. I can't really comprehend why they would've additional DASH in storage (if that's what your pointing at).

https://github.com/dashpay/dash/commits/master

* reduced several memory usage problems without the cpu bug that .52 introduced i think, briefly summarizing it.

No way. My theory is that they figured out it far more lucrative to turn them into Masternodes, that's why they've closed trading. Scarcity is really starting to get noticeable, so they're holding onto their Dash before they all run out  Wink

Dash

Not Dashcoin

DΛSH is digital cash. Transactions are obscured in the blockchain, making them private from the wallet. You can send Dash to family or friends, or pay for goods or services, anywhere in the world. Hello DASH Community,

Just stopping by as I have been admiring the devs work here, and actually recently purchased my fist 260 DASH.

The community was very welcoming and I appreciate that.

I wanted to let the community know ToshiDesk supports DASH, and the markets are looking great on ToshiDesk! ( currently in BETA ) - http://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=954240.0

RSI looks to be a steady 47, which looks to be the bottom and I see another great buying opportunity right now!

Dev, I will contact you privately about a marketing opportunity that involves giving free coins to ToshiDesk users, while educating our users about your coin with content that we can spotlight feature for 72 hours.

More information about this offer soon, but I wanted to mention it early on for reference.

Cheers,

Any speculations on why the price of Dash dropped on exchanges like Cryptsy?

No pumps or other manipulation leads to inevitable market stagnation. True 95% of the time according to my observations of crypto.
