I sure wouldn't trust it.  He's insolvent until (if) the thief gives the funds back.

I've also wondered if the c-cex admin is dumping the DRK he was given back by the thief to covert to BTC.  I say this because only my (small) BTC balance at c-cex was ever frozen.  My DRK was not and I withdrew it immediately upon waking this morning.  But then the c-cex admin was given 10's of thousands of DRK by the thief.  If he has enough DRK but needs BTC BADLY, it makes sense he may liquidate that DRK.  I asked him and he did not deny (or confirm) it.

Nothing online is safe, cold storage(if done properly) is safe.  Just have online what you need to trade.

I don't understand why someone, even someone who stole a bunch of coins, would dump in a way that tanks the price. If he stole 100k DRK, why wouldn't he dump say 5k per day, rather than 40k? He'd get 2x + as  much Bitcoin and it would just take 20 days instead of 3. I've never seen this kind of behavior with any other altcoin. Makes me think someone is just intentionally tanking the price, but to what end? If the DarkSend implementation goes smoothly, the price will recover despite what any dumper does. I can't think of any possible way for the dumper to profit by doing this.

Same here, really don't understand....  Huh At what game he/they are playing...
But here it was obvious dump at the 4 market place at the same time....

Lol, why would a thief give funds back? Why steal it in the first place ?

This behavior kind of point out that the dumper somehow is having new fresh darks daily.

COINMINE UPDATE

The coinmine pool has
3239.49 MHASH out of total 5510 MHASH on network which is 58.79%

Here is a list of all the alternative pools, transfer your miners to any one of these , ideally spread out as much as possible.

THIS IS CRUCIAL

I'd like to thank eduffield and the other developers for this critically important evolution in virtual currency. DarkCoin is what bitcoin should have been. Some might call it "Bitcoin 2.0" but would do better by saying: "DarkCoin is digital cash." - Child Harold - February 28, 2014

Joined. Also seems like this is running much better than previous works. My Rejection rate is 0% across all cards now whereas it was 2-3% easily earlier.

Looks like there is a big farm also in the uswest node.

I just emailed this to all 3500 users of my pool, and we're already seeing the shift in hashing power:

Quote
Lately, we've been experiencing a large flow of mining power into drk.coinmine.pl and it's becoming very unhealty for Darkcoin.
We need to spread out the network hash rate among the other pools, its not good to have one pool with > 50% of the total.
Currently drk.coinmine.pl had ~80% and we need to get that down into the 20-30% range.

This is very important, if you're using coinmine please move as soon as possible!

Lot's of users are about to move so spread out your hashrate, pick a pool from below:

15 minutes ago: 3250Mh/s
10 minutes ago: 3170Mh/s
Just a minute ago: 2990Mh/s

Thankyou EVERYONE for moving and helping Darkcoin

P2POOL WORKING !!

Yup, was my divine touch haha Cheesy

It appears like those who have NaN as their DOA rate are still pointed to uswest instead of the new nodes.

we are growing, come and help mine darkcoin, and get a chance of winning the lottery pool.

once a week 50% of the fees, will be drawn,
to one lucky winner... is it your turn next?

Pool Pays Witdrawal fee: 0.0
Please spread your hashing power, we dont want 1 pool to have >50%
