The grue lurks in the darkest places of the earth. Its favorite diet is adventurers, but its insatiable appetite is tempered by its fear of light. No grue has ever been seen by the light of day, and few have survived its fearsome jaws to tell the tale.

Anyone else having a problem with the Mac wallet?  Mine wont open, keeps quitting unexpectedly as soon as I click to open it.

Doesn't work for me either. Is this a known issue, anyone?

I've only used the Mac wallet and have no issues. OSX 10.9.1.

Hmm maybe I should upgrade!

Hi Eduffield

1) Images. How about something of this nature? Obviously you want to avoid cheesy stock photos of business people around a desk lol. Clearly, it has to relate to privacy and security as a theme.

http://www.seqlegal.com/sites/default/files/free-legal-document-images/privacy-policy-image.png

http://www.childcarevouchers.co.uk/Style%20Library/Accor/Images/privacy.jpg

http://blog.marketo.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/05/privacy.jpg

2) The site. I just saw 'Wordpress' at the bottom of your prototype homepage for DRK. Will this really be a Wordpress site? Instead I recommend putting the site up in HTML5 only. It might best for the main site to have no login feature, that way you can keep things simple and you will need very little or no Javascript.

I can help you with recommendations for that, if you want. It means A) Quicker loading times, B) Creating more difficulty for hackers to target and get into the site.

Just my initial thoughts. Hope that helped.

Because thieves, retards, and whales are dumping and bailing until here is good news. Such is a symptom of the speculative market.

Yeah they are!

What I meant is...Maybe an image like that (the creepy eyes), with a cross through it. To show that Darkcoin is pro-privacy and anti-creepiness.

Perhaps a picture with a pyramid and the all-seeing eye, with a cross through it?!

I feel any creepy/shady imagery is best avoided. If you want to send a positive message, negating a negative doesn't get you there. Just pick a positive image.

Honestly, both of the eye pictures are a bit creepy... I like the understated image of the key and the keyboard.

+1

Even though the name is DarkCoin the visual message of the "service" (transaction of wealth etc.) should be positive. It shouldn't tell a story about the dark world and its negativity but rather about bright solutions in a world where privacy is less respected.

My 2 cents as someone working with online marketing.

pool.darkcoin.io is scammers!!
Today I went into my account they were amazed!
No coins, no Walker, no customization payments!
Miner with the work properly and sends solutions.
Last time I got paid on February 23
3 days miners worked in vain!
Transaction history neither!
pool.darkcoin.io is scammers!!

The pool is working perfectly, I've been mining on it the last few days. I found your account and checked the log and I don't even see 1 share (invalid or not). I'm guessing you configured it wrong and just didn't check to make sure it worked?

PS, I just looked for payments and you've never been paid.
