ymer makes a valid point. An overwhelming majority of crypto traders have no idea the merits of the coin they're buying or selling. It's all just chart trends to them. Everything gets pumped and dumped. It's not the coin, it's the people...

Many people are in this to make money.  That's bottom line.

None of these coins will ever have wide adoption where you can use to buy things.  People that think DarkCoin is going to ever be widely adopted are wrong.  Bitcoin is the coin that can already be used for significant purchasing.  I just bought laptop and knitting yarn for wife on Overstock.com.  In the end bitcoin will be the coin that is widely adopted.  All the rest are just speculative investment vehicles.

Bitcoin was pumped up by a fake money laundering bot called Willy..If that never happened, the value of a Bitcoin might be 5 dollars right now for all we know..Bitcoin will not be the #1 crypto in 2 years, mark my words.

That was proven non consequantial shortly after the "willy report" came out. Btc run up was legite both in April and Nov 2013

The DRK market is a slaughterhouse right now (ever since mintpal nad cryptsy resumed trading after the fork) with a constantly increasing flow rate of blood.
But nobody (except the butchers) know when and where it ends. And it's probably a good time to pick up some slacks from these slaughters if you haven't bought in before but you want a piece.
But there is this problem with buying in at a bottom: you might never know where the true bottom is. But it's still better to buy in at the middle of a dipping than buying in at an all time high.
So, to sum it up: It's your business when and how much you buy. It must be your decision.

I consider myself to be one of the most hones people around here.

I was always transparent about my DRK holdings/trades.
I have never encouraged anybody to do anything which they could regret but tried to give them my true opinions (without ever forcing it on them).
I never flipped sides according to the real-time market situation / my interests.

I have always been and I will continue to be patient about the development.
I am hones about the fact that I sold all my DRK and I am planning to buy back 1k cheaper.
(I am trying to build up my crypto coin funds from almost nothing. But hey, I am a poor kid from a poor country And I also got raped by Karpeles! ).

I value my transparency and honesty. I have long term plans in the crypto business and I want people to know me as a trustworthy guy. I won't lie about what I do and what I am planning to do.


Believe it or not, I am still a Darkcoin supporter. I still believe it's the #2 coin out there (and BTC's only strength is it's age). It's superior than LTC and the market will see this as well... in time...
But I would be a fool if I didn't make an advantage of situations like this. But only passively! I haven't encouraged people to buy when I sold or vice versa.
Please go back and read all of my posts on the bitcointalk forums. (Oh, I and I did some work on Cryptsy's Chat as well in the same fashion: honestly.)
