There is still a 10 Darkcoins limit for now, but otherwise it's functional.

Well, sort of. Bitcoin went down a bit against the dollar. If it does that then DRK goes down too. The DRK / BTC exchange is another question. As it happens, I don't actually think that US Marshall BTC hitting the market is bad. All they're doing is taking BTC that was in cold storage and getting it out into the community. Whats the problem with that ? What's more, it isn't going to be hitting existing markets - it's going to be traded off exchange by auction. So that will be new buyers. All progress IMO.

Wait until the governments realise they can fund their private wars Anonymously with DarkCoin, they are gonna wish they converted those BTC to DRK and HODL!

This is absolutely INSANELY HILARIOUS I almost wet myself with laughter! Paul Boyer, the man behind Mad Money Machine, indadvertedly described the entire history of Darkcoin since its launch. A mix between the between the evolution of code development, as well as the developments in this thread. He also does a few musical pieces that almost put me off, but ended up (literally) almost peeing myself, as I thought of all the trolls and FUDsters around To make it creepier, he keps of saying the word "dark" here and there ... in the end, very end, he actually briefly mentions Darkcoin in a totally unrelated subject. Also creepy, how he keeps on sayin " set your watches for June 20th..." - hahahah!!! Creepy stuff !! I URGE YOU to listen to the entire thing... when you think he's spinning, he'll grab you again. Its is spooky!! hahahaha!! Well, now that a master node request has arrived at the top of the bid stack, I'm afraid I'm going to have to grab that 38 DRK shot sitting at the bottom of the asks.
I can see the thinking behind that order:
- 1000 DRK for a masternode - 360 DRK for day trading
That's the problem. If you're in the market for masternodes it's not enough to buy just the 1000. You need 1000+ so you can take advantage of any gains with the residual holding. Otherwise your investment is locked up on a server unavailable for trading.

Icebucket was right - the resistance is weakening. You should know that every time a resistance level is tested it becomes weaker. Thats TA 101
I seem to have made the wrong call earlier this week. I thought we'd bounced too many times off it and would start drifting back down before recovering towards the end of next week again. But it's not happening. The strong demand is tipping the balance. They keep on coming and slowly eating that wall at 18. Global timing is also bullish. Americans will wake up to see us at 18 and not 16 as they were perhaps hoping. That can create a bit of panic - specially with it being Saturday and all. Not only that but new buy walls are going up - there's now 8500 DRK demand above 170, up from about 4-5 last night. Meanwhile the supply below 192 is down to 7400 from nearly 10,000 yesterday. EDIT: While I wrote this we're already at 181. Breakout now on the cards. Thank f*k Minataur wrote that post last night about the "state of DRK" and made me buy back in because if we get through this wall, the old resistance will become the new support.

Or 1360 for masternodes because he/she already has x640 DRK

Oh ok I should have read more, I thought it was going to get dumped on an exchange Nope, not getting dumped on an exchange. Buyers need to show up with proper identification to claim their auction winnings. This isn't going to be small investors being that they are bidding on 3k coin blocks. The coins aren't new by any means, they are already mined and counted for in the existing market cap. If people thought they were going to remain out of circulation, they didn't realize that most seized assets get liquidated at auction. The likelihood of large investors buying these coins and then immediately trying to flip them on an exchange is a no chance IMHO--I'm sure whatever arbitrage they will try to get will easily get bid out as the investors watch how the exchanges are pricing. Finally, this is actually more good news for BTC as it shows it contains value from the government auctioning it off. Use what existing price dip as a chance to get some more cheap BTC.

Plus I bet my ass that they'll buy it for more than the actual price. They're not stupid, they know that trying to buy that many on an exchange would drive the price up a lot, so even at 650+ they would average down their investment by buying those coins.
