Camo, have you tried using a different computer or OS?
Or course, making sure that two clients were never running at the same time. I tried it on my laptop, no different... Last night I tried every thing and every combination of things that I could imagine...

Then I just gave up and went to bed at almost 8am.

Camo dude... seriously... I know we dont see eye to eye, but we are in the same boat together.

Please listen to me! Do you have a darkcoin.conf in your data folder or not ?! Pvt msg me dude ! It may me a long shot, but I could solve your problems! I've done at least 20 million MN's already, and all had weird strange quirks, that I managed to fix them ALL without exception !

pvt msg me dude! forgive and forget, but fuck your bad attitude !  Cool

Lets get this show on the road, shall we ?

I don't have a bad attitude, I'm just frustrated.

Actions speak louder than words. I'm still doing it, aren't I? I vent, but I plod on...

The reason I haven't done much with the logs is because they aren't telling me anything. That's why I'm left hanging and guessing. I wish they were more verbose.

I've got a working theory now and as soon as a pull a fresh chain I'm testing it.

I don't know why we don't see eye to eye, you just started coming at me like a spider monkey out of the blue and I wrote you off.

Unfortuantely, it takes ages for my manual TXes to be accepted into blocks...

Creative minds wanted !!

We are working on writing a script for a Darkcoin explainer video and want as many people in the community to pitch in ideas and help with writing the script.

I have seen many people on this thread that are really gifted with a great style of writing and a deep understanding of what Darkcoin is about. That is a really great asset for Darkcoin and we would appreciate your input  Smiley

It would be best to keep the discussion for the most part on the dedicated thread over at DCT https://darkcointalk.org/threads/darkcoin-video.333/

We are currently trying to come up with a easy to understand basic explanation on    What is Darkcoin ?

The target word count is around 100 words.

To kickstart the discussion I put together some text that is mostly from the whitepaper, but keep in mind that this text is only a suggestion of a first draft.

What is Darkcoin:
Darkcoin is the first privacy centric cryptographic currency based on Satoshi Nakamoto’s Bitcoin.
Bitcoin was a remarkable invention. However, due to the very nature of its design, the blockchain is inherently not private. This has obvious implications for users' personal privacy, as all transactions are traceable in the block chain. Meaning that anyone with a internet connection can look up your wallet see how many coins are in your wallet and ultimately find out what you used your bitcoins to buy.
To solve this inherent problem of privacy, Darkcoin was created.

Keep in mind that I am not a very good writer nor a native english speaker.  Tongue

So lets put on that creative hat and hash out a masterpeace.

 Smiley
Whitepaper quote far too technical for Jo Public.

What is Darkcoin?

Short answer - Like Bitcoin, but anonymous and much faster!

Longer answer - Darkcoin is an anonymous, decentralised currency that lets you send and recieve money 5 times faster and over 10 times cheaper than any other system, to or from anywhere in the world with an internet connection. Decentralised means no one person, government or organisation controls it. Unlike Bitcoin it is completely private, nobody else can see your transactions, just you and whoever you are sending money to or recieving money from.

70 odd words, takes 20 seconds to read out loud at a leisurely pace. Speed and cost factors plucked out of my arse, modify to suit.

No dude... you're the queen of bad vibes, I'm the king of good vibes.

You may be a huge DRK bagholder... I'm certainly a little shitty 1 MN owner... but I alone made rc3 98 % compliant (with the help of Splawik and select others) ....  and I alone was responsible for more that 2 million PoS MN's on this networks.. And am working on 100% RC4 as week speak.

I've set up node for people on Amazon, Vultr, Digital Ocean, Florkinet, you name it,  OSX, Windows Vista, 7, 8, Linux 14.04 daemon or QT, VMs , etc etc...  I am no pro, but I am a DRK pro and super Masternode pro.

With all your fancy pancy paranoid security network... you're loosing ground.

Fuck that man !! lets get this thing going! Let me at least try and help you your through you troubles!

If not ok. your "possible-not-guaranteed" loss. If my help works or not... well... live and learn !!! At least you'll get ahead !

Great !! Thanks thelonecrouton. I will add this to the DCT forum if you dont mind.
Keep em coming folks, I think that 5 different suggestions should do it and then we can vote on the best explanation, and work from there.
Remember this is a community effort and every input is greatly appreciated.  Cheesy

I'm not trying to avoid your help, sir. I just had a theory and it's taking me some time to test it. So far, it looks like I'm onto it.

Theory: No matter what you set the "Amount of drk to keep anoned" to, if you've got a truckload in your wallet, it skips over all kinds of shit.

I sent 100 to a new wallet, set it anon 100/8deep, flawless...

Sent 7000 to another new wallet, which was set to anon 100/8deep; toot-toot, all aboard the bork train... Never gets the message that it's too soon to split again... The record is skipping for some reason when there's a bigass wallet.

Well... that because apparently, you're one of the fattest wallets on mainnet to actively open your balance to be denominated. As soon as other like you think the same, your tx will be accepted as fast as f*ck (to the prematurely DRK-ejaculated folk).

Denomination works with the powers of numbers. Right now there aren't many. You can easily anonymise 1 DRK, but 10000 DRK is a lot harder since there are not so many people out there doing the same!

Like I've asked before... do you have a darkcoin.conf file in you r main data folder ??

If I create a 10k wallet and keep it running, will it solve Camo's problem? Is this something we can try?

But, I set the limit the same on both. There is apparently a threshold of DRK at which is just goes all wonky no matter what you set the darksend limit to.
