 So I was trying to figure out my 'line in the sand' for a support level that, if broken, I would have to finally take my long-term DRK profits. And I realized the long-term DRK chart looked very very familiar... I introduce you to a fractal. Bitcoin has gone through many of these already. They're one of the coolest (because they can be ridiculously accurate) and sometimes scariest (because they can stop being accurate and all hell can break loose) phenomenons that occurs naturally in the environment and in stocks/bonds/currencies/etc. Essentially, the April to August price and volume action has copied the April 21-May 3 timeframe. Personally, in my all my years of working in investments I've seen many price fractals but never seen price with volume fractals. And coincidentally enough, other chart methods I use (unrelated to the fractal) tell me to make my line in the sand at the high (.00555) from that April 21-May 3 timeframe. Hopefully this fractal continues to bear fruit and we're really in that May 3-4 region and DRK takes off here soon in a huge way again with volume. We'll see.. JL The 30 day support level was .0074 BTC 30 days?! That's arbitrary. What's your point? |

People are not buying DRK right now because they are waiting until most sells and buys establish a foundation or equilibrium. And cryptonote coins are true P2P. No masternode network required. But they have been taking a hit as well. I don't think that anonymity is as big of a deal to the majority of people as it is to the diehard DRK'rs. It was just the latest fad. Mainstream commercial adoption where the money is doesn't care about anonymity. DRK may very well be the best anonymous coin one day but it will still only occupy a small niche market. Also, progress is being made on the bloat issue and one cryptonote coin is already doing some pruning of the blockchain. if you did not spend all of your time trolling drk and kept up with your cryptonote investments you would know that the pruning efforts are negligible and the bloat can't be fixed as AnonyMint has pointed out. they are now just saying that the bloat won't be a problem in the future because of moore's law but that's just wishful thinking and not a solution. in the future masternodes can help y'all with your bloating issues though, for a small fee of course  |

How am I pumping? I haven't mentioned any specific coin by name. I stated some facts. And for the record, I have sold my cryptonote coin holdings like I did with DRK because there is too much misinformation and hype. All altcoins are pump and dumps anymore. It doesn't mater if it's Darkcoin, or a cryptonote coin.
Smart move offloading cryptonotes. But pump or not, the Drk anonymising function works. Let's also agree on that. |

Checked.. it says "Darksend Rounds -2" for inputs!? everything below 1.1 DRK gets -2 in the rounds and also everything gets -2 when it hasnt started denominating yet. |

Saying that cryptonote coins are dead is incorrect. The current coins will likely fade away but the technology is suffering growing pains. There will be a next generation of cryptonote coins that will have many of the early issues resolved. The same way you guys always use the "Darkcoin is breaking new ground with new technology" argument, the same can be said for cryptonote coins where the technology is merely a couple months old.
