I think its a case of everyone hoping to buy back lower. There is nothing cataclysmic occurring, the bounce across all markets should be significant.

Did you guys see this?  http://www.weselldark.com you can buy DRK directly using paypal.

I just jizzed, thank you!

Nice markup, 3.23 a coin, only 25%

Yeah I saw that after I wrote my comment lol... I'm withdrawing funds through the normal channels, I can wait a day or two...

If it wasn't bolted down at my house it went on eBay, including a 2nd car we hardly use...

Everywhere I looked, I just saw masternodes waiting to be realised.  Looked at my laptop and said "I don't need a laptop and a desktop"...  Looked at the PS4 and said "The boys haven't touched it since they discovered Minecraft"...

Looked at the girlfriend... Said "OK stop now..."

ROFL  Grin

its like you reached into my head and was reading out aloud.

Hehe look I don't like seeing people lose money and I hope everyone selling now got into DRK nice and early or at least they got their money back.

For those of us still accumulating however, who may only discovered Dark between .0012 and .0039, they are doing their "Even have a long holiday" dance because the last few days have been a gift from above...

Darkcoin is not a trading tool, it's a lifestyle change...  The day I can pay my electricity bill for my farm with Darkcoin is the day I melt down a huge tub of dark chocolate, rub it all over my body and throw myself into a large group of hungry women...

The new generation have arrived and they brought their own currency...

It's odd. People don't realize that when Bitcoin drops, that's the time they should put their money in Alts...

Why in hell would anyone buy altcoins, when Bitcoin is in Bull phase. It makes more sense to buy altcoins when Bitcoin is in bear phase, as the altcoin is also generally priced lower, and they will make more $ when it does go up.

But alas, most people are sheep, and don't think for themselves when it comes to trading.

even if you never start, the price of darkcoin will reflect the value masternodes hold to people who can.

You are right, the slum in bitcoin price has brought all the alts down.. including the most valuable among them, DRK.
Given the fact that btc is a whole lot bigger, if btc dives sub 500 then dark becomes even cheaper!
Rejoice, as this moment in histoy brings in new comers with all this commotion over Darkcoin going so low! Cheesy
Who here has friends starting to buy dark now at this price? I do.

You are just in time for the first anonymous digital currency. https://darkcointalk.org/

Thanks almost missed your post, thank you for your explanation. But still drk has lost much more then for example btsx. Thats what I dont understand we have fallen more then any other big alt while we have this amazing news that rc4 is live and kicking...

it never got going.

after rc3, people were sitting around waiting for launch to see if the tech worked. then there were bugs. moving from testnet to mainnet was always going to see different problems. not least those caused by the competition trying to break darkcoin.

then we've had some big wallet bugs. those are more serious, as far as I'm concerned, because the big wallets of the future is where the action is going to be.

then we had the backdrop of BTC falling because of traders fucking up, concerns about BitLicences and generally low volume because everyone is on holiday.

trolls have tried to use the opportunity to cause more sell pressure. competitors are running around scared too as they have fared worse, so they too send trolls here to try to recruit buy support.

LTC hasn't escaped. I sold all my ltc at $19. today they are at $4.

fundamentals of drk are still there, but now with bells on - anon from within the wallet. devs are still there working away at creating the future.

mixing coins from within the wallet. fucking genius idea. we have so moved on from gmaxwell's idea that mixing can take place once coins are in transit.

Thanks. So because it never got going since there where some bugs in the beginning.., btc was falling and drawing btc from the altmarket, plus some market manupulation that is still going on makes drk fall more then the others.. ? I hope we have seen the bottom .. we have almost half the marketcap of btsx. I must say I am not familiar with btsx.. maybe thats where the problem is..

You know whats funny?  I'm one of the most hated people posting in this thread and I haven't been spreading any fud.

I'm not posting in big bold letters telling people to sell their drk.  I haven't been gloating and mocking people because the price is down.  I'm a very aggressive individual, I speak my mind.  With that said,  if you go back and look at the posts between myself and the resident fanboys you will see that the banter between us has nothing to do with drk.  It's turned into a pathetic soap opera that I is starting to bore me.  And I don't wish to antagonize the majority of drk investors that bought in based on much of the propaganda being released by the TEAM.  They are suffering significant losses at the moment and they shouldn't be.  I warned people a month ago but was attacked aggressively.  If you look at the majority of my posts I am calling out shitcoins and scammers like carsen klock.  I'm trying to help people keep their btc while others are trying to take it.  Yet I'm the enemy?  That's what happens when there is a concerted effort to silence the messenger and that's what's been going on here.

The Large Holders that have everyone following their lead are the ones manipulating drk and doing the dumping and pumping.  I realized that after the post from bigcarnada:

Shojayxt... im going to give you the same respect back.  First off,  im going to assume that your fairly intuitive,  and would figure that why would a person like me be on here.  You would probably guess that i to have my agenda sort of speak.   i did some very indept research and became acquainted to Evan and Internet Ape  and what the plan was going to be back in January,  though they had been working on it already alot earlier.

As part of my own private crypto investment group... we spent alot of time discussing not only darkcoin but several other potential coins.  It became evident that nothing had the robust vision that was being purposed by darkcoin.  we had as a collective a vast experience base in crypto investments.   One of the requirements we had was that we were looking for  long term solution to wto specific concerns to us,  security,  anonymous transactions as well as a look to coming out with  real world solutions for the retail  and merchant space.  Our collective groups background is from  IT and software engineering ,  mine was  having developed a software billing system for at&t and MCI, to retail merchants,  investment advisors and even a doctor.  This  gave us a great prospective on what it would take resource wise,  to tackle this.  We were also aware of what the development cycle would be like and the hurdles that were going to come.

To be honest... couple of things that irritated us was the advertising of firm dates on deliverables as we knew those virtually meant nothing due to the  nature of what was being proposed.   the  other thing that worried  us was the the meteoric price raise.   We could fore tell that this was going to be a recipe for trouble... and here we are.   Obviously no one is thrilled with the price drop that goes with out saying though  it was not unexpected.

I think there are those here that have done a deservice to this coin in the short haul buy shouting from roof  tops dates and price targets and when those  arent met less savey investors start to panic.  we had experienced this numerous times in BTC,  not certain if your familiar when BTC was at $22 then fell to $3.   this happened a number of times to BTC... drove people crazy. We knew what was  coming price wise fir dark,  because we saw it happen a number if times with Bitcoin.

Do I have doubts about Drk?  No way... because the fundamentals are still there  that we invested in... is the  pricing down trend irritating  yes.   Doubts,  we have non because we've collectively been here before,  we know what to  expect,  people like you doing what your doing.... we've seen it all before... and im sure we'll see many more of you.   Let me tell you and those  looking to invest on Darkcoin,  we knew to stay  invested in BTC at that time.  We heard  many like you ... dump BTC for  $3 like your advising to do now.  Never Mr.  Shojayxt.  Your right... im not a moron nor is  my investment  group,  we play to win Shojayxt... and we know  exactly what we're doing and why we are amassing darkcoins!  History again will prove me right.

Mr.  Shojayxt... we're not some kids throwing some dollars around. We are professional investors that know what the hell we're doing.  Collectively Between us... we hold a sizable chunk of this coin.  And let be me very frank with you Mr. Shojayxt... we didnt invest in this to just run this up to just $50/drk.  We can assure you we are in the next few years expecting far,  FAR bigger numbers.  So to investors in Darkcoin ... this is isnt a pump.  You figure out the  rest.  Richard

And this one:

Could it be a big exchange dumping part of its holdings to get some BTCs?

The good thing is he will eventually run out of coin to dump.   im hoping to get back in at $2.   not sure... ive heard there were a fewnbig peep with large wallets dumping huge amounts...  to buy back in,  doing this game ine can double or triple their monwybfairly quickly.   its an interesting strategy ive seen done before... and it can work well.   they are ballsy because they are counting on demand for the coin after their dump. .

I highlighted the interesting points.

Come to your own conclusions.
