Unlike traditional banking where clients have only a few account numbers, with Bitcoin people can create an unlimited number of accounts (addresses). This can be used to easily track payments, and it improves anonymity.

thanks for testing, i don't know the answer to your question but someone will.

We need lots more people online with D+ wallets, thats the only thing! We only need D+ liquidity on mainnet for the tx to match and start doing rounds.

In testnet we did heaps loads of D* ping-pong'ing without incidents. And with ricdiculous amounts of tDRKS. Mainet is a different bag of cats, like pseudo-ex-converted-trolls trying a bit more sophisticates toruble making.

 This is a SOLID release!

Just needs adoption. Already contributing mixing some of mine, result soon to come. I put up 36 DRKs on 4 round. Better than 1500DRK doing 1 round. right now.

How many of you have wallets denoming out there?

Just a reminder : If DRK is severely going down is only because of YOU, especially actual and potential MN owners.
Yes, you read well.

87% of the coins belongs to adresses with more than 1,000 DRK.

I can't read the people finding excuses like "no fresh money", "no whale", "dumb crypto-community"

Look at the past sell orders : it was multiple of 1000 !

If you want a 100-300 M$, just stop selling during 1 month. It is not the rare sells with 50 Drk that will lead the price down...

The competitors are far behind. Ltc, Doge or even Nxt are in trouble ! What are you waiting for ?

People need and search for "same thing like BTC but private". Fundamentals are here. We do not need geekeries, we need to figure out how many rounds we should use (catastrophic option leading to uncertainty and doubt : "Did I well or enough rounds", "Is my coins anonymyzed ?")

Pool Police ?! What we really need is a TOP 100 Police or dark soldiers who list who amongst rich list is selling or trying to day-trade !!

Just try not to sell during on month and look how magically the price will soar !

Anyone else getting a "pending" notice when withdrawing DRK from Cryptsy? I've had a withdrawal transaction show that for an hour or so - never seen that before. My wallet is up to date (29), Rounds = 1 and I have no other anomalies. Well, one actually, but I think it is a known issue - a small amount has not yet anonymized over the last couple of days although most did back on version 26.

Had same 4-5 days ago. Had to open a ticket and get it escalated, took about 24h to resolve. Something is wrong with Cryptsy dark withdrawals...

Hi guys,

Trying to setup a darkcoin p2pool node following the instructions here:

https://bitbucket.org/dstorm/p2pool-drk

When I execute the command "python setup.py install" from within the /xcoin-hash folder I get "error: [Errno 13] Permission denied: '/usr/local/lib/python2.7/dist-packages/xcoin_hash.so'" - tried running the command with sudo but get the same result. I run a few p2pool nodes for various coins, so I know it's not a dependency issue.....

Any ideas what the problem is?

Peace  Smiley

I'm sure you'll get better help in IRC #Darkcoin... dunno, anyone around here to lend a hand?

Yeah, I just posted there too, thanks for the suggestion. If anyone here could give a suggestion I'd be grateful....... Smiley

There's still 4 page for me to read and maybe this has been answered but....

My understanding would be....... When ever a permission is denied, use: sudo

Didn't see an answer to your question after wading through all the FUD in the thread so...  I set up my p2pool node last weekend using http://blog.crahl.ca/p2pool-setup/ as a guide.  worked like a champ for me on ubuntu 14.04.

I'd like to thank eduffield and the other developers for this critically important evolution in virtual currency. DarkCoin is what bitcoin should have been. Some might call it "Bitcoin 2.0" but would do better by saying: "DarkCoin is digital cash." - Child Harold - February 28, 2014

true that.
Just relax, wait, and let some more people accumulate drk at these attractive prices.

oh and better to have a few more smaller updates to finetune things if that results in a stable end product.

OK updated but log shows an error:

Running darksend denominate. Return 'Error: Darksend requires a collateral transaction and could not locate an acceptable input!'

Although it seems like something is going on from the rest of the log.  Am I doing something wrong?  Or is this expected behaviour?  How long does the process take?

Edit:  Another .001 has been deducted from my balance.  Where is that going?

Should be less than 30mins. Fee is a transaction fee and goes to the miners.

OK now I'm seeing this in the logfile.  Going to send coins to another wallet and create a new wallet and send back to new.

I downloaded the latest version. I seem to be having an issue with denominate.

I've been hit with 6 denominate fees for -0.0125 in the space of 10 minutes. My balance keeps ping ponging between unconfirmed and available balance. Any idea what's going on ?

I'm running set at 2 rounds.

In fact, darksend cost so much to use it is almost useless.

Yes, it costs few pennies to anonymize thousands of dollars worth of coins. So useless.

And if you're mining, you're getting those fees back.

Sorry, coinjoin mixer is no good anonymous. It was just temporary solution to satisfy, and has been proven that sender can be identify. So please no more lie, ok. RC4 still does not work without bug, so at present time this coin has no anon solution.

Sorry to be the one to inform you, but even the first Darksend version was ahead of plain coinjoin.

Read this: https://twitter.com/anonymouscoin/status/476350618077249536

@anonymouscoin Does your assessment of coinjoin apply to modified coinjoin as implemented by #drk? i.e. Darkcoin Sudoku

@dandarkpill I don't think so, but I'd like to do a more in-depth analysis of DarkSend when I get a chance.

I'm running set at 2 rounds.

check yr inputs.. what rounds are they?

Rounds? I have it set to 2 rounds. The count on the denominate charges is now up to 8, I keep getting hit with them and my coins still aren't anonymized.

I downloaded the latest version. I seem to be having an issue with denominate.

I've been hit with 6 denominate fees for -0.0125 in the space of 10 minutes. My balance keeps ping ponging between unconfirmed and available balance. Any idea what's going on ?

In fact, darksend cost so much to use it is almost useless.

Yes, it costs few pennies to anonymize thousands of dollars worth of coins. So useless.

And if you're mining, you're getting those fees back.

do masternodes also get 20% of those fees? anyone
