Closer to 45 minutes and pretty minimal, but exposure nonetheless. I was timing it more for the whole conversation to get some background and not just the word "Darkcoin- 45 min" dam i am always getting trouble for my minute count ! haaaaa

Others will be able to fill you in further but the biggest thing I have noticed in the limited amount of testing that I have had time to do is a speed up in the denomination and anonymisation process.

In addition to Kristov Atlas - it’ll be great to attract somebody like this girl http://www0.cs.ucl.ac.uk/staff/S.Meiklejohn/ for additional research of DarkSend’s fundamentals…

Anyone care to comment on this:
THE FACTS ABOUT DARK COIN
1. released without windows QT so that only dev and pals could mine it.
2. Instamined harder than any other coin out there 12.5% of the current minting was mined in the first day
3. Later they decided to cut the minting by 75% to turn their 12.5% instamine with no windows QT into 50% instamine in 24hours - nice hey
yes that is correct they mined 50% of all the coins available at this time by themselves in the first 24 hours whilst windows users could not mine.
That is the facts.... doesn't matter what else they say... nothing can change what they have done.
Once zero coin, or bytecoin with a decent wallet it released or another darkcoin clone is released.... dark coin will sink like a stone.
EDIT: taken from another thread. Just wanted a clear answer not a load of FUD from bag holders with dick sucking fetishes.
Looks like a load of crap. Where did you get it from? And were there any proofs mentioned?

There has been no set amount of time for when the open source will happen. Sooner rather than later obviously, but it is important for people following DRK not assume it is going to happen 10 days from now. No dates have been given.
What is wrong in knowing the exact date?

What is wrong in knowing the exact date? There is nothing wrong with knowing but one wasn't given--not sure the point of your question is. If you are floating a release date, you have to be confident you will be able to push it out with no issues.

I don't know about the direct effect on the price, but it can be good in term of trust and therefore adoption.

Clones aren't. But there will be few who can handle the complexity of running the system. Many will try, people will figure out its hard to get right, the clones will get dumped and people will invest in DRK.

It turns out that if you take a closer look at the top 300 wallets, you get an interesting picture: http://bitinfocharts.com/top-100-richest-darkcoin-addresses-1.htmlOf all the wallets created in: *Jan-14: 146,000 DRK *Feb-14: 175,000 DRK *Mar-14: 315,300 DRK *Apr-14: 524,200 DRK *May-14: 522,500 DRK *Jun-14: 332,900 DRK *JUL-14: 96,300 DRK *Aug-14:713,855 DRK *Sep-14: 125,624 DRK Total: 2.94m DRK [~63%] Well, well. What do we have here? Some distribution going on and a few whales picking up cheap DRKs. You really should have hodl your eCash. Instead you gave away your eCash.
