IT IS A HIGH TIME TO CREATE DECENTRALIZED EXCHANGES!
Bitshares X?

anyone used bitshares x already? it hit pretty high in coinmarketcap but I never read about how it works or used it. Looking at the wiki http://wiki.bitshares.org/index.php/Bitshares_X right now

well it hits high probably because there are 2 billion of it lol

If Dakrcoin had 2 bln coins our marketcap would be more than bitcoin's marketcap.

aehm... no! thats not how it works. people use the marketcap to recap the value of the coin

He's saying if DRK had 2B coins outstanding and the current price stayed the same, it would have a higher market cap than BTC.

Yes, he is saying that. However, it's still meaningless.

re: cryptsy - The 500 error has now turned into a connection error with a 'powered by incapsula' logo...

Didn't mintpal error messages have 'powered by incapsula' logo when they were hit by the DDOS attack and other problems?

Maybe just a coincidence, I suppose it's more than possible they use the same provider for their web security.

Walter
I'm not too sure about their provider but I've been having the same errors for about 16 hours now. Altough cryptsy was very briefly available about an hour ago before it went to Incapsula proxy error again.

I remove my old wallet dat file and darkcoin makes a new one it starts up fast with no problems but when I remove the new dat file and install my old dat wallet it lags. if I click any where on the wallet I get the not responding I have to wait for it to pass. is this a bug or is there something wrong with my old dat wallet?

Depending on how old the wallet.dat file is, you're probably better off sending all the funds from that old wallet to an address in the new wallet, or if you are partial to your old address, dumping the private key from it and importing it into a fresh wallet.

How do you do that?

If I have Masternodes running, will it affect it?

Dude, what you call a "meaningless" comment was a reply to the meaningless comparison of quality and market-cap. If we were to trust coins or value them based on their marketcaps then ripple would have been my #2 choice but the reality is that we can't.

p.s. wtf are you, a philosopher? Looking for a meaning in everything lol

I updated all masternodes to 10.15.13

But i have Inactive (0%) problem in some.

What is the problem?

I had the same thing on a couple of my MN's

i just now tried to start it up on the local wallet as well. will keep you posted on if that works for me.

Yea I have all my MNs as "inactive" there too. And the balance is slightly off on one of them as well. Sup?

I've got the same.

Masternodes that were running 10.14.1 and are now running 10.15.13 are showing as inactive, but darkcoind masternode list | grep is working and they are accepting payments.

New masternodes, created from scratch, running 10.15.13 are not showing up and darkcoind masternode list | grep is not working.

so bottom line : as long as we do the grep command and it returns a 1 we're good, even if the site says we're not?

just double checking...

I actually already received a payment on one of the MN's that was listed as inactive.

I just don't feel completely comfortable when it's not showing on the site,

I've had the same problem, it's fine. Just ride it out. As long as you're on the masternode list when your grep it then you're fine.

Walter

I have a masternode that doesn't even show up on that site but it's still receiving payments.  I was concerned that something was wrong until I opened the wallet and found out I had received a payment.

I don't see a "comparison of quality and market-cap" anywhere in the post prior to yours. It appears to solely be an observation. You shouldn't "trust" a coin based on its market cap, but it's useful as a "take note" factor (seeing as it's kinda a proxy for market "trust").

Thus, market cap has some meaningful value. You get to decide for yourself how much value. Conversely, coin supply is almost completely meaningless and irrelevant from a value perspective, except in outlier cases.

The site didn't update his MN to new version.
Got the same but all of my MN see the other MN (xxx.1) but the MN with old version don't see the MN with new version.

Good buys on Bitfinex.

Wow. No Cryptsy, no MintPal, someone willing to pay the price on Bitfinex to get in now at any cost. News? Or Evan's family?

I own a DASH Masternode.... And you should too.

With MP out and Cryptsy down, this would be the ideal time for people to find a new home at Bitfinex, granted, doesn't help for coins tied up at those two places. So there's that.

Are people starting to see how one or two dominant centralised bot-infested exchanges where thousands of fools leave their balances are not a good thing, and how not having such exchanges makes market manipulation much harder?

The botmasters can't bleed fiat out of your crypto if it's safe in your own wallets. Stop letting exchange bots play the market with your coins.

I was observing the bots on Trex and Finnex earlier on today for a few hours, they systematically work the price down...

Leave it up, it'll get filled within the hour if the last few hours is anything to go by...
