I think its important for the wallet to show how many wallets are mixing coins at the moment (live counter). Then we can also put a graph on some website that displays trend of this over time, which is a very clear indicator of adoption progress. Evan, can you implement this?

It will also help us who are willing to help the project to determine whether its needed to run liquidity providers at any given time.

I will also post this on dct

"How many wallets are mixing at the moment" is impossible to determine since each wallet has a multitude of addresses Smiley

But some version of this should be quite easy to do on one of the Block Explorer websites.  Simply have a statistic section:

# coins mixed in last block
# coins mixed in last 10 blocks
# coins mixed in last 100 blocks
# coins mixed in last 1000 blocks

(Yes, this will double-count.  E.g. if I had a 5-round mix going on within the last 100 blocks, my coins will be counted 5 times.  Which is fine.  The point is to provide some metric of mixing, not to be super precise with it.)

BTC/XCP 11596GYYq5WzVHoHTmYZg4RufxxzAGEGBX
DRK XvFhRFQwvBAmFkaii6Kafmu6oXrH4dSkVF
Eligius Payouts/CPPSRB Explained  I am not associated with Eligius in any way.  I just think that it is a good pool with a cool payment system Smiley

Can someone help me please?

I get this error

"inbound port is not open. Please open it and try again. (19999 for testnet and 9999 for mainnet)"

when i use masternode start PASSPHRASE

You have to open PORT 9999 on the server

what command do I have to input?

Depends on your firewall setup. I like ufw, here's how easy it is:
Code:
sudo ufw allow ssh/tcp
sudo ufw allow 9999/tcp
sudo ufw logging on
sudo ufw enable
sudo ufw status

Tried those commands, all i got was...

USERNAME is not in the sudoers file.  This incident will be reported"

I followed taos guide perfectly, and have already had one running no problem.

Can i not just add the :9999 in the .conf file somewhere?

How do you normally switch to root? Do that, then run the commands I posted without the sudo bit. You need to be root to modify your server firewall.

BTW i sorted it, it was my error not the network, duh!

Cheers man

we still need ~2%

That percentage factors in 10.15.13 pools... pools NEED to be on .15.15/16 at 80%. This release should have been mandatory. How many pools have confirmed they are updated to 15/16?

Paid appropriately:
-Suchpool
-Miningpoolhub
-Coinminepl
-X11greenpool

Multipool.us and Xhash said they are on the latest but we have yet to see a block found from them to know for sure. We're at about 36% with those...

EDIT:
Add simplemulti, xhash

Add trademybit, darkcointalk

Today I wanted to try mixing 5 DRK at 8 Rounds. But since 3 hours it hangs at 14% now. Text always changes between "Darksend is idle" and "Submitted to Masternode, waiting queue..."

Next problem is, that there are already 0.3251 DRK fees for now.

Any ideas please? I also want to mention that I started mixing at 0.10.15.13 and updated to 0.10.15.16 now.

Incorrect, you paid 0.025 DRK in fees. The 0.3 DRK show because that's the amount that was anonimized, those are not fees. We simply require more users to anonimize funds on the network for the anonimization process to happen quicker.

~16h ago I informed all pools guys.
Check onyx thread on dct.
Probably all pools which pays more than 20% cause the downtrend of general %.

Can someone manually check last 100 blocks what fees has been taken??? At least 20%+

Ok, so the "Darksend Denominate" are fees and the "Payment to yourself" are anonymized funds right? 0.0125 DRK fee per round? Wasn't it 0.001 DRK earlier?

i suggest you sent your debug.log to Evan as these 0.1 amounts are collateral fees that should only occur when yr client is misbehaving in some way
(for example loosing internet connection or something).

Pls sent your debug.log to evan@darkcoin.io or register and create a post on darkcointalk : https://darkcointalk.org/

Edit :

Darksend Denominations : 0.0125 fees per round (was previously indeed 0.001 but made more expensive to counterattack spam / ddos attacks i think)
Payment to yrself : splitting up fees (sometime 0 .. sometimes 0.001, depending on txtsize i think)

yep, that could very well be it... just sent Evan an email and maybe he can get you these 0.1 collateral fees back as
they are all gathered in a certain holding depot

Yeah, that's too bad. That's a lot of collateral fees. However, fees are paid directly to miners now to avoid the possibility of double spend attacks. You could reach out to the pools that processed the transactions and ask for the DRK back.

I dont know why but on drk.mn ltc1btc.com shown they are not at newest wallet. Today at 7 a.m. GMT+1 they wrote me an email saying they updated to 0.10.15.16

CryptoADHD updated...they emailed me too.

Evan do we rly have to wait and inform always pools as new wallet version comes out? Can't we just give them 3-7 days to update and then enforce the net how it is???

We loose time for next improvments don't you think?

Release versions are tested for a period of time on testnet before release and pools should only have to update a few times a year after this. However, v0.10.15.13/v0.10.15.14 caused network fragmentation due to the client banning others when it shouldn't have. In the future we'll have better processes for more extensive testing.
