The Bitcoin network protocol was designed to be extremely flexible. It can be used to create timed transactions, escrow transactions, multi-signature transactions, etc. The current features of the client only hint at what will be possible in the future.

Just sent out a Tweet that will make traders very happy. Holy crap is all I can say. Something huge is about to happen. Evan, or someone, must be up to something HUGE because the chart suddenly just 'clicked' for me as I realized I have seen this pattern in DRK before elsewhere. How high will we go? Hmmm...definitely won't say. JL
Just a note: nothing about this prediction has changed. We are in a declining channel of consolidation which is only delaying the inevitable. I suspect MintPal going Gox has drastically delayed things, however I still believe we will 'soon' see something that will allow me to reference this post once more in the future and everyone will go 'the Dude called it'. Hold onto them DRK's. JL

This is an example of the Escrow Service Fee The USD/CL amount stays the same while the DRK/CL amount fluctuates with the cost DRK What is "CL" in this chart? I am interested in your services.

It seems some of the Silk Road users are just putting their coins on an exchange, buying DRK to then anonymize, then buying back BTC.

This is the time for education on why DRK is better than BTC for privacy. Informational videos on how and why DRK is the preferred currency for privacy should be posted on the darknet subreddit and darknet forums. Every darknet user should be using DRK rather than BTC.
Is there already some usage in the Darknet or none at all? Yes. Diabolus is accepting DRK currently. Starting next wednesday, a second market Nucleus, will accept DRK as well. LOL with real adoption the price will rush! I cant say I am not smilliing now See it as an act of respect not more markets are accepting DRK, we want the integration to be done properly, which means it will take people time... It's lovely to see real world adoption of DRK, Instant(Tx) is going to be a massive weapon when it's time to go door to door.

Do they not think an exchange can be subpoenaed? The won't have to speculate and solve a blockchain, they can just say "give us the records or be shit down" and what do you think the exchange is going to do? Can't fix stupid. There is no point in talking to these people. They think they already know everything. Let them learn the hard way. OR at the least, why pay exchange fees twice when you can just buy the DRK and use it instead of.... Oh nevermind, why do I bother... Frankly, adoption is premature... There will be complaining and trolling as development continues and new features upset the apple cart now and again...

Have just noticed that nearly all the MNs have gone to a status of "Partially inactive 92%" on Elbereth's Masternode Monitoring site https://drk.mn/masternodes.html#payeeconsensusDoes anyone know why that is and what it means?

Probably means there is work being done on the site... Why do people F5 this stuff and panic at the tiniest anomaly? Who can get any work done with twitchy people refreshing your site every 0.0001 seconds? :1 That's all that matters.

It probably means that the daemons Elbereth's Masternode Monitoring site is using are having connection issues / are down / are being updated. My masternodes are running just fine.

By "work being done on the site" do you mean Elbereth's site? (meaning perhaps it's not querying properly). There are some MNs that are green and 100%, but only a handful. (yes, illodin, mine are fine too)

Is the update there yet where you can 'start-many' for multiple MN's?
if so, can someone break down what exactly it is that you need to do?
You still have to have a wallet with multiples of 1000DRK on different addresses as far as i know... is this correct?

What if Darkcoin and XC teamed up, with DRK being part of Blocknet?
Something like that would be really detrimental to the Darkcoin brand and image at this point. Maybe if later on it actually exists, is open source and adds value in a meaningful way. There is no clear business model for that they are planning to collect money from people 2500BTC as I understand, that is scary, how are investors going see a return? Trusting people with money for an idea that may or may not work or become a reality is a big part of the crypto world problem. Buying coins is the way to support a project you hold your asset immediately, ITOs are a bad idea in an unregulated market. Volunteering and open source development is the only way to show transparency to investors and build trust. How long did it take for Drk to go opensource? When it went open, wasn't there a pretty big exploit found? Its already been said that Blocknet will be opensource. Most people are familiar with Supernet. Both projects are similar so lets compare Blocknet to Supernet. There are some big key differences. Supernet raised something like 5700+/- btc for their ICO and they require 10% of the supported coins. Blocknet is only looking to raise 2500btc at the most and will destroy anything not sold. Coins join for free. They do not require 10% of DRK if DRK chooses to join. Blocknet is not using a central currency like Supernet's BitcoinDark. Participating coins work with each other directly. XBridge is not an RPC call protocol, it's a true P2P protocol. Blocknet is suppose to be truly decentralized. Also, Blocknet is not just XC. Dan from XC proposed it and I guess you could say he is heading the project but its not just XC like everyone tries to make it. Its an open project between participating coins. All the devs will be working on it and towards the overall goals. That's some of the big difference. If it all comes together. It could be pretty cool. If not, there will be plenty of you ready to attack so I'm sure they'll pull it together. I have thought about the blocknet maybe for a total of 10 minutes, and the insurmountable obstacle it has, is how is the issue of slippage when transferring money from one currency to another and back in the blocknet exchange going to be solved? And imo, it can't be solved without totally sacrificing usability (very slow transaction times and accepting currency risk) or anonymity. I think supernet is trying to solve this by having 10% of each participating currency owned by the supernet itself, so it should have liquidity for the trades. I'm not sure about this though, the 10% requirement could be for something else. This does seem to be of no concern to anyone else talking about blocknet though, large holders of the participating coins are just seeing this as a chance to exit as they can't dump huge percentage of a small marketcap coin but they can buy blocknet ITO tokens with their coins instead and dump those tokens for BTC easier.
