Having a GUI in the wallet is a fab idea.  You need to write all your ideas down mate, the CroutonChronicles  Cheesy

I prefer not to incriminate myself any more than necessary.  Lips sealed

However, my quest to make MN administration even easier continues:

Any security issues to adding an additional layer like that for user friendliness?

The new generation have arrived and they brought their own currency...

Not really, the Felch! button just grabs info from darkcoind running on your machine, the block explorer, and bitfinex for the exchange rate, and sticks it all in one box. You just put all your Masternode addresses and IPs in a textfile which it reads from.

The Update! button just runs a bunch of commands for you so you don't have to type or copy/paste them in yourself. No passwords are stored anywhere but temporarily in RAM. You could just as easily have a bash script running on your Masternode, but my way is more colourful. Wink

A thought I had lately:

As you know a coin get's value when it is required for something you want to buy.

I wanted to build a small Software Tool and then thought about possible payments... you know: shareware.

Then I thought wait a moment.. wouldn't that just help any coin to get value?

Say I can buy that little peace of software cheap but only with darkcoin...and I could pay anonymous and safe and mabye even triggered from within the software.. and that returned software key only works for the one that payed... (we are in crypto)

I have no clue if such is possible. But hey here you have the idea.  Grin

IT IS A HIGH TIME TO CREATE DECENTRALIZED EXCHANGES!
Bitshares X?

anyone used bitshares x already? it hit pretty high in coinmarketcap but I never read about how it works or used it. Looking at the wiki http://wiki.bitshares.org/index.php/Bitshares_X right now

i like bitshares x. i have already used their decentralized in wallet exchange to trade some of my btsx for bitusd. just for fun i will trade some btsx for bitgld and bitbtc and maybe even some bitcny.
those 4 are the only pairs they have now but at some point they will allow users to create their own assets like bitdrk.

the night trader thing looks interesting but they are associated with blackcoin and some of their original promotional material was anti-darkcoin or at least misleading.

i look forward to the darkcoin integration with openbazaar. that should be huge imo. any eta on when that might happen?

very interesting. As I see bitshares x is very similar to NXT platform. So it wont be possible to trade drk directly, just a asset made from drk coins. its a decentralized asset exchange.

OpenBazaar is a decentralized marketplace, sounds like this is a different approach and could offer the decentralized exchange technology to trade drk directly with btc.

Also Counterparty, you can trade any asset to any asset on their platform

Looks like Bitfinex is keeping the highest volumes right now .. i'm curious when the price on Cryptsy will be corrected towards
current price at Bitfinex
Source : using Google Spreadsheets with this formula : =IMPORTHTML(ʺhttps://bitcoinwisdom.comʺ,ʺtableʺ, ʺ0ʺ)

Edit 1 : never mind the volumes & price% in this picture, it changes too often at bitcoinwisdom to be reliable i just noticed

Edit 2 : change% 24 hrs even changed to -11.14 .. no idea why.

Wouldn't it be wiser to use your own wallet for this kind of withdrawal? Sad
It's not the right time to trust in both exchanges that they do as they were told or can be questioned if they don't seem to. Mintpal can now easily direct his lying finger to Bittrex. And you must relay on what Bittrex says (you can probably trust them but you won't have direct proof).

Gotta love the jab at Darkcoin there.
"Don.'t tell Darkcoin.. Trading across chains is more anonymous than any other coin." <-- Brown for Bullshit.
I smell bullshit. If transactions are atomic, the transaction size can be correlated across chains. You just need a history of currency conversion rates. <-- Green for Truth (veritas, verde...)
Basically they would need to ask Kristov Atlas to audit their design.
One more thing. This looks like what it is: a booster feature for Blackcoin. Blackcoin was fully instamined at launch. There's no ongoing proof of work. Yawn.
+1.

Fancy presentation and no substance.

Let me know when:

1. It exists
2. It works
Their own presentation already describes the fact that it will never do what it claims to do, if you have brains enough to figure it out...

Don't tell DarkCoin. Yeah, cuz we'll call out your bullshit and you wouldn't want that to happen.

The stupid, dirty whore always says "Don't judge me!"

Thanks, but I will judge you. It's called having good judgment, and I'm going to fucking use it and not get AIDS and an Escalade Baby...

When documentation/propaganda explicitly tells you to shut off your brain before reading what comes next... Yeah...

Miners are supposedly all about 'supporting the network!' right?

Evan is too lenient. 48hrs notice is more than adequate.
So much of this. The skanks need a pimp hand to keep them in line.

Also, we cannot fail to mention that pools are a centralized band-aid for the huge deficiency of a network that doesn't handle this itself... The problem is cloned from BitCoin onto pretty much every coin to the point that we've forgotten that this is a huge defect, and just take pools like it's normal. Pools are a huge, major, holy shit flaw in crypto that has become so ubiquitous that we've forgotten is a major problem that desperately needs to be fixed... ...by MasterNodes. ;-)

"He who fights with monsters should be careful lest he thereby become a monster. And if thou gaze long into an abyss, the abyss will also gaze into thee." -Friedrich Nietzsche
It neglects an important point...

The initial monsters bring it upon themselves.

This describes me well, I know it, and I'm perfectly fine with it.

I am the consequences. Had humanity chosen to behave in a civil and responsible manner, I would not be the monster that I have become; the one it deserves to suffer for choosing to be monsters themselves.

Always blame the other guy for what you yourself are doing first, that way the truth looks like namecalling: Democrat Propaganda 101.

Become a society of monsters, blame the natural, consequential result of this for what is actually your own doing... Same old shit, different unwashed masses...

I can't wait for it to come crashing down, and finally be free of the perversion and abuse that so-called "normal" people assault me with every fucking waking moment of the day... Molest, provoke, assault, etc... "Normal" people are pure fucking evil.

This is crypto in general. The dirty guv, inspired by the votes of monsterous, entitled, violent degenerates, has taxed, fined, penalized, controlled, regulated, seized, imprisoned to the point that it squeezed so hard that the natural consequence of crypo was born out of necessary defiance of their evil oppression.

The harder they squeeze, the more slips through their fingers. Freedom always finds a way... Those not smart enough to walk the path call their chains jewelry...

masternode | list grep is working. I dont have any problem for this. And result is "1"

I have problem only on drk.mn and Chaeplin's Masternode Monitoring...

I did update yesterday, and had the same issue. Now it is no longer listed on both monitoring sites.
I was selected as payee but it was marked as not detected and payment goes to another node.
( Block 154541 )

MN is still running, grep my ip gives me a one.

I had this in the past and did wait 7 days without payment before i deceided to set up a new IP.

Any ideas what to do and why it is delisted on both MN ?

you've updated but 12h ago multipool.us didn't. They found the block so you missed the payout.
They are on right wallet now.

The monitoring by drk.mn iis on wrong version so it makes ppl confuse...

"masternode list" with YOUR Masternode version (hopefully 0.10.15.13) is what the pools and other Masternodes with THIS version also see, so it's the most reliable way to find out what's going on.

Unfortunately pools with older versions will still pay Masternodes with older versions, but since more and more pools update that will have lesser impact in the near future.

And, as soon as enforcement to 0.10.15.13 kicks in they will completely disappear anyway...

Now it dissapeared also on his site.
