I'm realizing that it seems we have at the moment, enough masternode setup guides to get everyone involved who wishes to be. Maybe next on the list as far as guides go should be on how to get involved on testnet. I can't pump it out tonight, but if no one beats me to it who is better suited I may give it a shot. There are a lot of new faces around and making it easy for them to help in the dev bug shoot would be a sexy little notch in someones belt.

I would appreciate this. Doubt I will ever have my own master node (but would love to) and it would be fun to see what it is like on testnet. Can I fire up an unused pc or do I need an AWS acct?

Tagged $450 on stamp. This is crazy. I bought some BTC on 7th and 9th of November for an average of $358.55 so I could convert them into DRK (I also have to wait because I do not have instant enabled with Coinbase) but now had to purchase more, at $450.00 -- this is intoxicating, how insane these prices' movements are... And with DRK again at 0.0059421 I hope to grub a nice chunk of them... edit: at Bitfinex, $470.00 I guess margin calls are kicking in like crazy...

@lonecrouton, having only masternodes will highly centralize dark. There is thousands of miners, vs a thousand and some masternodes. Centralisation.
You are a fucking moron. (In case anyone is unaware, louiseth1 is one of those 3 people, running suchpool.) Yes with 1000's of miners behind it.. it's not ME mining all those blocks myself, you seem to forget that with your closed vision. I just help all those miners to get together and enjoy a smooth platform. There were a lot of organic pools before, but most of the big ones have fell off, and the users came to ours. We've been honest with the community and true supporters of darkcoin since its early days. Your point is just not constructive and plainly stupid. At least on my darkcoin pool, the miners WANT to mine darkcoin. I deliver straight to the darkcoin community. In the case of waffle, its just rape n dump as the miners don't care about anything else than bitcoin. That's what should be avoided.

Did you see Vitalik's remarks about "metacoins" ?
(Don't read if you're bagholding counterparty right now - or at least wait till you've finished enjoying your Champaign).
There a link somewhere? Can't find the remarks and am curious.

Other pools felt sketchy in comparison...

Here's a tip.
It's good to take profit while the market is up. Regardless of the coin.
Edit:
I'm holding many coins and am taking profit on many. Still holding DRK but did sell a percentage. It's just business.

Crouton actually has a point (altough he can be a bit harsh sometimes ). Not to give you any idea's but this would be possible if your pool would solely make up for 51%+ of the hashrate. It's stated that the 51% attack needs to come from a single entity. Maybe even some sort of centralized construction of the 3 pools could make it happen. sauce: http://learncryptography.com/51-attack/

Yes with 1000's of miners behind it.. it's not ME mining all those blocks myself, you seem to forget that with your closed vision. But you _could_ start an attack (unlikely, I mine at suchpool since day one and have a lot of trust in you), or someone hacking your pool could (more likely). And, what most people don't realize and the name implies otherwise, you don't need 51% for an 51% attack...it's just that with 51% your chance to succeed is 100%. I deliver straight to the darkcoin community. In the case of waffle, its just rape n dump as the miners don't care about anything else than bitcoin. That's what should be avoided.
100% agreement!

Does anybody know whats behind to high BTC demand.
Even if the rise of BTC is harming nearly all other coins for now, the BTC rise is good in the end. It will bring over longer term new players to crypto generally and that is what we need to grow again.

Supposedly some hedgefunds on OKcoin jumped in for 3 Billion. Not sure if true but they made the post themselves. Edit; Found it. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=I4oiQriC0n8&feature=youtu.be&t=4m57s

Does anybody know whats behind to high BTC demand. Looks like we don't need to look further for an explanation that last year's moving average. If we had just continued the way we were going without that crazy China fuelled rise of December then this is where we'd be by now.

Hey dude, I've always sent through a tip when I could, I really enjoy your work and I think you have a massive role to play in DRK's future. I will be very happy to support you once my existing crowd funding exercise has finished, which hasn't gone too well mind you. I honestly thought I would get the same level of support that Kristov Atlas got when we crowd funded his analysis, however then I realised, people are more likely to donate when they see something specific being done. Are you a fan of Formula One? The McLaren team have a "Tooned" mini series which does a really good job at building the brand, I think if we put together a framework for something similar, albeit on a much smaller scale, for the Darkcoin Story, we could be onto something. I feel we would get more community support as well. Thanks for your kind words and your efforts. Some cool dude already donated 15 DRK, yay! Thanks to the anonymous donator. So I will create a few more of those cartoons now. 3D cartoon? For the moment I have to pass on that. Everything 3D takes even more time to create.
