i wouldnt mind hearing some more specifics about buy walls, sell walls, how they are used
as strategy and what we can exspect with this 11K buy wall..... is this a sign that some big
players are entering the Darkcoin market / altcoin market ? Or is this one big whale
trying to corner the market ? or taking protection measurements ?

nothing special i would say, not that much compared to the volumes near ath

anyway: chart looks good, i would expect some major movements the next weeks

what is a typical ETA until darksend mixing starts moving up from 0% ?

Or doesn't darksend mixing work yet?  Do I need to wait for a next update?
The thing is flipping between 'idle' and 'Last darksend was too recent'.

Anything else I need to do than press the 'start darksend mixing' button?

it depends on fellow darkcoin users mixing their coins .. i would advice to keep yr wallet open for some time (pref a day or a night)
and then check the mixing progress.

note : you can always stop the mixing and restart it again from where it left off.

edit : ''the idle'' / ''last darksend was too recent'' messages are normal .. just wait some time and you will see it will progress when it found pairing partners for the mixing.
Basicly its looking for two other clients to mix yr input with ...

********** almost forgot... its not a bad idea to upgrade yr wallet from v0.10.16.6 to v0.10.16.11 .. its not a mandatory update for the mixing but who knows.. it might help *************

I've had that mixing delay for the last 36 hours or so also, fwiw. I upgraded a few hours ago but no discernible difference yet. I know it is probably "normal", but thought it worth mentioning in case a bug has crept in - it seems to be longer than the previous "normal".

There was last a big buy wall like this on 11/9 at 0.0085 and it was gone relatively fast, which was a very good indication of a short term top.
 This one however is still here 12 hours later and has had a hard time getting filled as time drags on which should tell you that no one with any kind of position size in DRK wants to sell at these prices.
The buy wall owner will likely have to increase their price here soon or risk getting left behind in a hurry if Evan suddenly has some good news.

While it's nice to see buy walls, that 11k buy wall is, "only" worth around $30,000.  A lot of money?  Not compared to volume DRK has seen in the past.  That it's not being filled even when it's sitting on the top bid position does say a lot though.

You never really know if a buy or sell wall are positive or negative.  It's pretty easy to put up a wall on one side and soak up the weak hands spooked by it on the other side.  Or maybe I own a ton of coin and want to help the coin rally, so I put in a buy wall.  The possibilities are many.

That we haven't corrected more with the recent and ongoing bugs is a good sign for bulls.  Once these bugs are tackled I think we'll begin a long uptrend.

With regards to the mixing, i think we will see a bit more effort on the mixing next week and i'm sure Evan
reads this thread and will inform us if anything is wrong with the mixing. Personally i think it just needs more
time and maybe not everyone got the message its safe to mix again now.

edit :

also in these latest wallets the liquidity provider is integrated and can be activated with command
-liquidityprovider=<n> (0 to 100, default 0, 1=very frequent, 100=very infrequent)

There used to be high fees with option 1 and low fees with option 100 but with Darksend letting go of the fees i dont think
that fees still play a role here ... maybe we should explore that option some more next week.

edit : i probly should mention there is still one kind of fee with Darksend, its however a very sporadic fee of 0.1 DRK that should
only hit you once a week or something .. its just a very rare fee ment to secure the system.

This wall is there since yesterday. It was at 12345, then some people sold into it and dropped to 9000. Then replenished back to 12345 and now down to 10K. But not pulled about last 12 hours or so.

I think the core supporters of dark will have to shy away from promoting dark in favor of dark markets and illegal activities and more for personal privacy before any of the big BTC exchanges will even consider it.
