the competition of block chain is very fierce, and innovation is often born from competition. If ChainCoin does not grasp innovation and development, it will be occupied by later comers.

To clear things up a little: we have a major upgrade in the pipe. It is announced to be published on Jul. 4th. It will cover all features others (like Dash) are only dreaming about. Currently we are cooperating with mining pools to make sure they can actually  create all the blocks we are going to accept.

At a glimpse this means we are supporting of course everything that Bitcoin does like SegWit and additional features we ported from Dash like the governance system. The difference is, ALL functionality is based on scripting which allows conditional transactions on every layer of the network. Masternodes and proposals can all be paid out based on ANY script.

Chaincoin - just make things better.

so  are there any updates? or its just a try 4 dumping ppl? Huh

Could someone possibly, please PM me a known working configuration for AMD gpus, eg ellesmere?

After much difficulties, we managed to compile the chaincoin sgminer for a non standard linux version.

At otherwise default config + I18, i get this:

GPU 4:                | 3.784M/3.186Mh/s | R:  0.0% HW:7 WU:0.000/m I:18
GPU 5:                | 3.793M/3.350Mh/s | R:  0.0% HW:6 WU:0.000/m I:18

100% HW. No valid work.

Can not promise anything but if you point me to your code, I could check for the issue

It's just this, compiled for linux.

Is there another one?

Chaincoin has a stupid name, no development and no active community, that is why Chaincoin is nowhere near Dash.

Yes I was trying to compile oc miner but with no luck. I have switched to windows version here: https://mega.nz/#!w0VWkBbZ!PWyCPnCjIuvm6pH8Ljt-hXvllg4npedd0gfwKGXkL-E

Result is 4,6mhs per rx580 8gb samsung

What drivers are you using in linux? Did you try this https://support.amd.com/en-us/kb-articles/Pages/AMDGPU-Pro-Beta-Mining-Driver-for-Linux-Release-Notes.aspx

Please share linux binaries. Maybe I can help with a configuration.

tanx for this new wallet , it works flawless for me , i know i must have an old wallet.dat somewhere but i almost forgot about chaincoin, i'll keep searching for my .dat , always knew that this coin will have a comeback , and it has some features that you won't find a lot in crypto , like 11 hashing algorithms

Roli passed along the access to his bitcointalk account, so we can now update the first post. I'm still gathering all of the important pieces of knowledge that we want to add to the announcement, as well as all of the exciting new features that the 16.1 code update is bringing us.

Most importantly, we need everyone (especially our miners) to update to the latest code asap.

Thanks for hanging in there!
