Thank you so much, that worked, now i just need to figure out how to write a conf file and where to putt it in windows and then just fix my mac wallet, which just won't sync with the network, it gets stuck on a specific block and won't progress past that. Thats where most of my coins are. The help is really appreciated, we should start collecting an error faq for the webpage, I think it will really hep with the community if someone has a problem, they then have somewhere they can turn for help quite easily.

Regards,
DarkWolf

PS: I really like that pic.

Im very happy for you that it is working now  Wink

- use your favourite text-editor to create a file named "animecoin.conf"
- save this file under "C:\Users\YourUserName\Appdata\Roaming\animecoin\"
- write your wanted settings in it

my config file looks like this:
Code:
# server=1 tells animecoin-qt to accept JSON-RPC commands
server=1
# only (localhost) is able to connect and mine
rpcallowip=127.0.0.1
rpcuser=animerpc
rpcpassword=STRONGPASSWORD

A FAQ Board is indeed not a bad idea. We need ani-chan in this moments, her webpage is still down... Sad

Hey guys,
I need a link to a 32bit windows cpu miner for animecoin, for some reason the one hosted on the frontage of the thread didn't work. (Gave me a message that I should get either x32 or x86 version of the software).

Thanks,
Regards,
DarkWolf

I also didn't found a compiled x86-32 version of this miner.

You have to compile it for yourself on your 32Bit Machine from Github:
https://github.com/Animecointeam/Anime-CPUMiner

There are also instructions inside the README:
https://github.com/Animecointeam/Anime-CPUMiner/blob/master/README

Good luck Cheesy

Thanks, you really have a wealth of knowledge 8bitp, is there any chance you could send me a compiled version, I'm not very good with compiling things with windows. I'm more of a unix person.

Thanks,
DarkWolf

Hey Ragnius, is there anyone who is capable of developing the wallet, we should add in wallet advertising to pay for the development of the coin.

That's a great idea. This would be a great source of remuneration to the developer of the wallet, the app, or the website.

Also, with the new homepage for Animecoin (as animeco.in seem to be dead) we could set some add banners for the benefit of the community crowdfund.

(WOW! Page 100! That's good!)

Hey there,

I have found this post:

Hi everyone,
I am offering my services as a small game developer !

I create games for fun, and i did not learn anything about developing games on school only online.
I can create a 2D game for you at your choosing [we can discuss this further on if you are intersted].

My price is very cheap and we can use escrow.

If you have any intersted PM me or simply reply here with your idea and i will tell you if i can do it or not, and if i can i will also say the price.

Thank you!

And had the idea that it would be nice to have a faucet-game for Animecoin. Something like a mini grand chase, elsword, or at least a simple pokemon like tournament (or a tamagochi). It could even be one of the features to our Android Wallet App in development.

Nice idea, in fact that might be the direction to go, if we could perhaps back services such as RenPy or PyGame, we might be able to promote Animecoin and find more funds for development + get the word out about animecoin and get it into circulation. We could use animecoin as a medium for donation and financing indie developers and their games. That is sort of the direction ani chan wanted to take the coin in the first place.

OK now on a different note, I'm going to start programming a website, there will be ads on it and all the necessary links for animecoin. Any input would be greatly appreciated.

8bitp, have you managed to compile the 32-bit cpu miner for animecoin, I could really do with it right about now. Thanks for all the support with the wallet, now I just need to sort out my mac wallet.

Hey does anyone want to help create an animecoin store? We could sell some animecoin merchandise, phone covers, T-shirts, USB's with some cool anime graphics on it for the coin.

Hi DarkWolf

I'm very sorry to tell you, that i couldn't manage to compile the CPUMiner on a Windows XP 32Bit with MINGW32 installed Sad

I get always an error at the final "make" Command:
http://pastebin.com/BXCJ16dB

Could someone help me out of this? I think the error lays in the source code...

Don't worry about it 8bitp, for me its more important to get my mac wallet working again than to continue mining.

The pool www.cpu-pool.net/ani will be shutting down on the 01.08.2014. So if you have funds there withdraw them from there by then. I've read that on their ani pool's homepage.
