My god- 3 pages of trolling?! Looks like I missed some action. All of this because a newcomer only got 7 PMC ?
Also Yes - I'm totally down for another community funded giveaway. We do need to work out some way to prevent double-dipping though.
Double dipping is difficult to prevent. We need to reach people not reached before or people useful to pmc community. If someone can offer his help then we would give him some coin. I am a large bagholder. Quite large actually. If I can be convinced it will be a good idea to start a new giveaway I will pledge 1000 PMC to a giveaway fund. The dev can hold onto all the funds but I would like to direct the giveaway so as to make sure that these funds are distributed in a fair manner. If we can all agree that it would be a good idea I will start an excel doc where we can all sign up and pledge whatever amount. Please let me know your thoughts as to why it would be a good idea to give small amounts of PMC out to the community. Specifically why these people won't just turn around and sell the PMC for BTC. Assume that these people are new PMC holders, not original stake owners and there will be no "double-dipping". Yup, start an excel doc on google drive so anyone can look and add his/her username, amount or possible suggestions. Something like that https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet/ccc?key=0Ak1prRm1Lw5kdGctbXJtNGxGRVdKRGJ6cVJyaWp3c0E&usp=sharingYou can prevent a large portion of double dippers by requiring bct usernames with X amounts of posts already, and then scanning the block explorer for the history of the address. While you can still get around this, its significantly more work to make 10 meaningful posts on a new account and create a new address just for a microPMC or two. We could make in this way to avoid dumpers. Give the coins only to users that are active in pmc thread or for pmc in general. Example: we start giveaway 1st April and give xx coins to each of this new users. After a month we'll give to these users other pmc based on their efforts for pmc or because they haven't dumped his/her coins (necessary a jpeg as proof) On top of this I would recommend taking a quick look into the recent posting history of the person, if these accounts were heavily used in giveaways, they are most probably side-accounts (and I am talking about a post history that has >90% giveaway posts.)

This is a cold wallet for PMC ( and BTC if you wish to donate but the BTC is all mine! ) 1LottouYrsEtCEhjZEjVUJ8nxYxG2ADJqK Send 0.1 PMC to that address. Pay attention to the transaction ID.... IF the first two digits and the last two digits are the SAME you win... What do you win? only 50 percent. The other 50 percent is being sent to the faucet: http://faucet.premineco.in/No, I am NOT a computer geek... I need you to tell me you have won... I will go to the block explorer and verify... Please just message me... I can only pay you from the address the 0.1 was sent from... that means you MUST use the PMC wallet. I can't send the money back to an exchange address... If you send MORE than 0.1 it simply goes into the funds for the prize and faucet... If you send less that 0.1 I will not count it as an entry... But it will ALSO go into the prize pool... I will make nothing off of this.... but hopefully the faucet will... and one lucky person.... Odds are 1/256 to match first and last two digits... Thanks So far so good... http://blockchain.premineco.in/address/1LottouYrsEtCEhjZEjVUJ8nxYxG2ADJqK13.9 PMC so far 0.1 to the address: 1LottouYrsEtCEhjZEjVUJ8nxYxG2ADJqK ( wallet ONLY, not exchange ) Match first 2 and last 2 digits of transaction ID and MESSAGE ME.... 50 percent to you and 50 percent to the faucet... No winners yet! Just match the first two digits and the last two digits of the TX ID and you win! And now you can fire the 0.1 PMC with your android phone! Again check the transaction ID: match first two and last two you win... message me! ( In the forum is okay ) If at the end of March no one has actually won, I will find some way to pick a previous entry as a winner. Probably using random.org. That gives you until the end of the month!

Good Morning!
Unfortunately our negative trend continues... We need more real time cooperation so i think that is important to stay connected in irc channel. Our channel is quite empty. EDIT: are we on allcrypt ? I lost this but this is only a news, not a good one imo.

Hi, I discovered now this coin, it's very interesting. I tried to use the faucet ( http://faucet.premineco.in/) but it's down, is it lost forever or it will be re-activated? However , if you want to send me a few coin to start: 16y1piqVAoq2uj3JhHmQZCKj5xGgNiMApk

This was my thoughts exactly. 1 claim per account created before this month with at least 10 activity. In this way we might have a handful of "double-dippers" but not on a large enough scale that it would skew the rewards in any one persons favor. Well hello my new best friend For me giving out small amounts is purely about spreading the concept of PMC to a wider audience, pure and simple. (so pure apparently that I used the word twice ) An idea that I like, (not mine, I've seen other coins do this), would to be to host a 'PMCs for Answers' thread on Reddit. People ask a question about PMC and they receive PMCs in return, along with an answer...the better questions receive extra PMCs 9this is to stop people just asking the same ones...they'll make an effort to get more PMCs). You need Reddit tip bot an someone willing to start an active PMC community on Reddit around the questions thread. For me this achieves a couple of things - it reaches a wider audience and it will clear up a lot of the misconceptions about the coin. It will also explain how the idea of transactions fees work and how having this experiment could benefit BTC and BTC clones. It will then act as a reference link for when the same questions are posted here. Hey there one thing that comes to mind is really how many questions are there to be asked about PMC in general? Most questions would be pretty basic. I liken the current state of PMC to NXT. The distribution has ended, there is no way for new players to get in other than to buy them. Why should they buy them? 0 inflation (all coins are already in existence) not wasting massive amounts of electricity pretty damn equal distribution unlike NXT where a few addresses hold like 70% of all coins. Why should we give them away at this point? For example, if you asked people to give away bitcoin what would they say? They would say buy them or mine them, both of which require spending money in exchange for the coin. So this is where we are. What is the point of buying a coin if you are continually expected to give it away? Rather than give away we should be making gentlemens agreements not to sell. If no one is selling then even small buys will raise the price.

We should maximize the number of people who receive a share and make them do some work to get the coins

The Price of PMC is nowhere near the price of BTC though. So a 2nd giveaway will bring some needed attention if done right. we just need to do this on a large scale and maybe at 1st we start off with 5 per person and then trickle down to 1 or 1.5 to 2

A little idea. Now you send a little amount (ex. 5 PMC) to a user. If he keeps PMC on his andress for a certain period (ex. one month) you'll send another 5 PMC (or more) to him. Or something like that. I think it's a good idea to prevent istant-dumping.

For me is better to give coins with some conditions
1) not dump them (if new members come with a proof that have not dumped their coins after 1 month will receive the double)
2) be active on this thread or for pmc community
3) be at least bitcointalk users with 30+ activity

We could make in this way to avoid dumpers. Give the coins only to users that are active in pmc thread or for pmc in general.
Example: we start giveaway 1st April and give xx coins to each of this new users. After a month we'll give to these users other pmc based on their efforts for pmc or because they haven't dumped his/her coins (necessary a jpeg as proof)

Already said, but two agree on the same idea is better than only one

Hi,
So how can I obtain this coin? I assume from what I have read there is not much mining but no mention of any pools, I like the idea how can I get involved with this?
Sorry not read the entire thread as it is very long now

By now PMC community is thinking of make a 2nd giveaway after initial distribution to have more new active members in. If you want you can try to post a PMC address and see if someone would give you some spare PMC. Ah, the mining is possible but only solo.
