Pensacola Flooding:

http://www.baynews9.com/content/news/baynews9/news/article.html/content/news/articles/bn9/2014/5/1/panhandle_flooding.html

http://seansoutpost.com

The storm washed out roads, damaged buildings and killed at least two people, who drowned after getting stuck in their cars.
Gov. Rick Scott declared a State of Emergency in 26 counties, a move that will help free up relief funds for people who have been affected by severe flooding.
Despite the government assistance, only a slow trickle of supplies like food and water made it into the area, as part of I-10 was flooded out.

Donate PMC or other crypto if you still can...

Sended 50 PMC right now.

Yeah, I noticed that. I am now only getting around 25-30PMC/mhs/day, instead of 35-40 when I started mining at hashcows Smiley

There could have been some 'reward' coin coming your way... 'nearmiss' said he was planning to return all the gathered PMC to the miners...
When that is all gone we will have a better idea of whats going on...

Keep mining! I am trying to get a gridseed myself...

I think you should be able to get some quite cheap with the A2 miners coming out now. Did you take a look at GAW miners? They have a 1MHS next gen device for $220, which is quite a good deal I think.

I think we need some more attention, maybe our next goal should be to get onto Mintpal.

Similarly to AUR, XBC is now sucking all the wind @ Poloniex... I think we keep trudging along.. keep on mining...
It will slowly go up...

Bitcoin itself was essentially ignored for 3 years.... we are okay...

It works... really well actually... and eventually the price should rise...
I think we figured 1 MH scrypt gets you 30-35 PMC a day... enough of us do this the price has to go up...

Small change to voting, now allowing just one vote per hour, but also divided the votes by 5 and increased cost of payment votes 5 times.

maybe they need more BTC from community's pocket Grin

Well, lets all decide what is next for PMC. I was told by someone that a sha256 mining pool would not help us much because almost most sha coins are not as profitable as mining BTC directly...

Hashcows works quite well for now....

As far as 'features' for PMC I really don't want any...

What I would like to do is a dedicated Hashcows scrypt miner that pays out to sha256 transaction fees...

There has been interest in a 'group buy' of a nice scrypt miner...

So much for all of that.... the next thing we want to do is get some games for PMC.... I will contact katepoker and see if they will consider accepting PMC for 'chips'.... anyone who knows or thinks of some other games chime in...

We tried for rapidballs lottery earlier.... we could ask them again as well....

The coolest thing about PMC is it is an exact clone of BTC.... so anyone with an existing system for gaming with bitcoin can easily clone it for pmc with almost no changes at all... it is only a matter of perhaps providing them with server/url... no real work for them...

http://bitcoinvideocasino.com is a really fun site.... they could clone it for us... maybe....

Lets discuss

Are you sure about it?
The interest in PMC is fading everyday and dont we need some new features/news to keep the buzz going?

I got my first PMC from the faucet and ever since I bought 3.2K of it from the market.
Every time I think about dumping them and moving on to new pump/dump coin,
I check this thread and I always see some inspirational post from you.

So hats off to you for keep PMC going, at least you have 1 believer in PMC now. Smiley

I think you are one of the main reason which keeps this thread going now,
but with some new features, would it be easier to make more believers?

Perhaps just one feature: POS... if only to protect the network... maybe it could be done the way 'orbit' coin was done.... 0 percent POS. POS just for network security... problem is I have not the skill to implement such a change. The reason I said I don't want any 'features' is because BTC itself is enough... so many bells and whistles on new coins...

Are you watching XBC? They did a 50 BTC ( IPO ) on that coin. Everyone who bought in is up considerably... however the DEV made like 50 BTC. It is exactly the same as PMC with less coins.... our DEV's "IPO" made him exactly ZERO BTC.... in fact PMC is the first 'airdrop' in a sense... he gave them all away.... ( Speaking of our DEV, I did get a message from him, he lives in a farming community and is really busy at this time of the season. I would like to hear more from him, but he is still watching us run with the ball )

We need to just keep mining @ Hashcows. And quietly, slowly, move up...

We need to have some places to spend PMC as well.. and gambling....   Smiley
