Also is anyone getting minimum sell levels?  In otherwords you go to sell something but it says it must be above 0.001 BTC total?

In normal stock trading, stop orders is triggered when the price goes below or above the market.

For example, you bought 1000 PMC for 1 BTC and your sell stop is at 0.5 btc to cut your loss. That means when it is traded at 0.4 btc which is below your sell stop it will sell all your 1000 PMC at market value, basically dumping all your coins.

In my experience in trading, it is not good to put a stop order. If you are a trader, it is better to manage your winner than your losers. If you use a stop that means whenever the price is going down you are taking it out to cut your loss, you can always wait for it to go up.

Well, most of the time you will wait forever until losses are recovered. I wouldn't count on that.

The basic rule is to risk 1% of your whole amount of coins for trading.

Kbroadfoot I noticed Counterparty was not on your list of innovative coins...
I found that to be disappointing.
You would think the first fair-start protocol (no premine, proof-of-burn) with an integrated distributed exchange and asset issuance services was a pretty big deal.

Until Etherium or Mastercoin gets there shit together, counterparty is probably the most technologically inspiring project out there right now. It's always on page 1 of the announcements page so I was surprised when it wasn't on your list.
For the most part though I thought your post was insightful and beneficial to PMC.

Blackcoin multipool is active and the "pump" is just started. From a value of 3000 satoshi to the actual 7000 in less than 2 days.

In this way the multipool is direcly taking value from other coins and putting in the blackcoin.

This idea is good enough also for PMC seen that many people don't mine it for the difficulty to find a decent block reward.

We have to make the same thing or something like that. But an idea like that was the combined pool with BTC that was proposed long time ago...

I will look into Counterparty...
Proof of Burn  <----- does this seem necessary, though? Instead of sending BTC to an address with no privatekey why not sent those same BTC to a charity? Or 'put them away' in just-dice, or rapidballs, even mcxFEE shares, or whatever making money for XCP holders in some way?

I get it to some degree, but seems to me the same thing could have been accomplished and the BTC could go on to a new life...

The is protocol layer idea is being tested with namecoin, datacoin, it is what Ripple is now... I suppose the BTC burn is an initial fairness to distribution...

I will study it..

Proof of burn is a great system (although I don't own any coins with it).
You're idea of Proof of Charitable Donation is unique and interesting though.

Well, I think he is completely right that bitcoin mining will become unsustainable unless some major change happens. The problem is that you need a huge hashrate to keep the network secure enough, but this hashrate costs a lot of money in terms of energy consumption. This has to be paid by someone.

PMC is of course already experimenting in this direction, but has a major problem imo, which is the hashrate. With a max of a few hundred GH/s, it is very easy to do a 51% attack. Someone with two or three ants could probably already do it (if he has the knowledgde how to do it).

It was not clear to me, is that 'fyrstikken' guy from cryptorush as well? He just came into the chat and started shouting. Before he joined they were trying to solve it, after that it was just shouting.

Okay everyone...

Lets do something today....
I have 50 PMC that someone gave me for no reason and now I am going to give it all away on this site:

>Michael Eaton
>Mar 16 (9 days ago)

>to me

>Thanks for the kind words about our twitter and website - its good to hear - I have been putting in 12 hour days lately.

>I absolutely love the idea of PMC - Do you happen to know the DEV?  I have some projects I would like to discuss with someone if his capacity.

>Here is my deposit address: 13KNLPCKVtLgA9z3s7sALWYVBv1Dcbsyxc
>As soon as I receive the coins I will begin tweeting the hashtags and details of the giveaway - and depending on how many coins you send - >schedule tweets for subsequent giveaways up to 3 weeks in the future.

>Thank you so much for being involved in Crypto - I too am a true lover.  Do you have any Mintcoin?  Post your address and I will happily send >you a few - Pure POS coin at this point in time (mined for 5 weeks).  Lost a bit in this dip were having lately but where Mint and PMC will be in >10 years?  lol - trying to guess that is absurd.

>Do you have a twitter handle you would like me to tweet as well?

He is http://cryptofury.com
And https://twitter.com/CryptoMarketing

Here we go....

What kind of hash rate sustains the PMC network?

Proof of burn is a great system (although I don't own any coins with it).
You're idea of Proof of Charitable Donation is unique and interesting though.

One key benefit of Proof of burn is it prevents fake buy-ins from developers.
For example if I have an IPO for FakeCoin I can send my own BTC to the IPO address and claim stake, even though that money is still and never will, leave my hands.

In this way the developers of Counterparty actually had to DESTROY bitcoins with everyone else to claim their stake. There is no premine to worry about them dumping, or running away with.

I imagine that a sizable chunk of all IPO buy-ins are from the developers themselves.

Another key benefit is you don't have to worry about the developers following through on distribution, like we have seen in Auroracoin. "Will they really distribute 50%?" and "What if they distribute 40% and keep 10% for themselves? How will we know?" etc. The distribution in counterparty was automatic, transparent and didn't rely on any one person.
