Also with chocolately, geth needs to be run as geth-stable instead of just geth, of course you could just rename the .bat file to geth, but if you're an old fart like me and have to use instructions, the instructions as they are written will not work lol.

What's the best way to stay up to date with development?

I would recommend reading Github for Coders or the Ethereum blogs

Damn I was sleeping when ETH hit above 400k, should have put a sell order up just in case before going to bed. I still believe in the long term promise of ETH though so I'm not too worried about the big dump.

What will be the maximum price Ethereum?

It will hit probably $10 USD in the near future....don't see it going any higher for some time. .. now that we have Microsoft under our wing things are looking even stronger than ever before. We could not have asked for a better sponsor for this coin!

Could go much much higher once we switch over to POS.

Ethereum would gain more traction if it releases a GUI wallet. That way it would be a whole lot easier to send and receive Ether without any technical knowledge at all (for noobs). People would then become interested in it and adopt ETH for use in decentralized apps. A good idea would be to make a decentralized bank based on Ethereum.  Smiley

Already being done my friend....Check out the Project known as "Maker" it will be an Autonomous bank & market maker set up on the Ethereum network: https://makerdao.com/  - all decentralized of course.

What people fundamentally don't understand is, yes BTC can theoretically do this stuff...but ETH can do it better...BTC serves better as a store of value / currency for large transactions. It will stay that way and increase in value.

ETH is going to play on all the other strengths that BTC brought to the table. It will truly be a "digital fuel"

Microsoft has its sights held up high and do not forget how fiercely powerful this company is. It was fought and shot down in the 1990s for its monopoly practices and took a hit. Microsoft is coming back with a force. Do not forget they were the first ones around. Before Apple and Google. Bill Gates knew his company was going to rise to the top eventually. https://youtu.be/6EGudaWlpHg

Sataya Nadella is poised to change the world and hes the perfect person for the job. When you come from nothing like him...from a place like india....it gives you a different perspective on the world. His goal is truly to empower each and everyone of us because he truly believes technology can save/change the world for the better. Most of us here working on crypto believe crypto has the same implications for the world. Microsoft sees this potential to help the underbanked and so on. The time is now my friends. Here is an interview from Bill Gates on his outlook for the next 15 years: https://youtu.be/8RETFyDKcw0

But yet the price drops.
What you say is the same stuff ive heard about every single coin and not a single one of them has been adopted by the masses in any capacity whatsoever, and neither has the technology. Only one coin will make it and its BTC - the rest are gambling including Etherium.

Only one windows..
Only one USA..
Only one autocad..
Only one Putin..
Only one USD..
Only one Islam..
Only one white race..

You don't want to have alternative. For this way, no one will use bitcoin and another altcoins. If people use this shit "only one" we will continue live in this fucking world.

Thanks! Is there a block explorer that shows the % of coins that the top N wallets like https://chainz.cryptoid.info/ltc/#!rich ? I know about https://etherscan.io/accounts but it doesn't show the % of coins that the top N wallets have.

I agree, how can widespread adoption be expected without a GUI wallet? Most people only have experience with GUI programs and would not bother trying to use a command line wallet.

I saw that one too but it doesn't give statistics like https://chainz.cryptoid.info/dash/#!rich does under the "wealth distribution" heading on the right side.
