South Korean Government insisted that it would not be banning cryptocurrencies like bitcoin, Ripple and Ethereum, instead suggesting that they will be more heavily regulated.
Conclusion: no crypto ban in South Korea.
The Indian finance minister Arjun Jaitley made no suggestions toward any ban on cryptocurrency exchanges or cryptocurrencies outright, only referred to illegal illicit uses and as a payment possibly....like paying at a restaurant
Conclusion: no outright crypto ban in India, however, he may try and prevent a restaurant from accepting a bitcoin payment but this guy is so unpopular in India right now he will be out of office by the end of this year. The farmers went bizerk on him for eliminating high value paper money already. The Prime Minister Narendra Modi is completely embarrassed. Arun Jaitley (born 28 December 1952) is an Indian politician and lawyer who is the current Finance Minister and Minister of Corporate Affairs under Prime Minister Narendra Modi. His career as of today is now over and he is going through the motions until he is out of office. He is now a non-factor and will be replaced soon

Any politician that sides against legit crypto will be voted out of office, and they all know it. Reasonable regulation is ok to prevent fraud of course. The revolution of decentralization has started and it can't be stopped only slowed down by rich elitist buffoons until they are voted out. People know now how suppressed they have been by the elite banking system...In the age of social media people just won't take it any more from politicians that do not serve the best interests of the people. Long live transparency in banking and wealth storage....remember Lehman! remember Madoff! Remember the Alamo!

I think it is good to see some rotation in positions of markets based on their capitalization. One month is already short from 12 as everywhere were shouts this year is going to be crazy for cryptomarkets there will be race and among markets to get better positions on marketcap in coming months. Ethereum couldn't defend its second position last year and now it looks ready to keep on going towards no.1 place. All this will be interesting in weeks.
The entire crypto market downwards happening, against the latest crypto dip except ETH, going up and survive strongly. At this point, ETH Is the Safe House! ETH is becoming strong when compared to other coins because there is no major dump happening at ETH. So there is the chance that the price of ETH will increase in the market very soon. This year ETH will increase its ATH by the end of the year. |

Unholy crap Batman! The sky is falling! Should we panic too? I love to watch calamity like this don't you? Those whom wanted a low price to get in cant say they didn't get a chance. Glad I don't have to work today so I can watch. So much better than Reality TV. Of course I may not have any electricity very much longer as I am now broke. Does anyone know where the soup line is in Cincinnati? I do have some gently used crypto for sale if any one is interested but I wont hold my breath for that...

Not only ETH is facing there are many other coins facing the same situation in the market because of Bitcoin price fluctuation. It will soon recover because once Bitcoin is increasing then automatically all other coins will start increasing their prices. |

South Korea again? I remember they said they will not ban cryptocurrency. crytptocurrency has been influenced by government policy too much. |

Any predictions for ETH bottom price? I've put stop losses orders at $700.
*PS. no offence to Korean (proven FUD) or Indian (news not yet officially confirmed) traders, but these are not the biggest markets and the current crash is a major one. So reason for the red candles should be sought somewhere else.

i got to say i for one not really worried tht much about eth even if the the whole market crash down, i think ethereum took a a path away from the financial market from the start even the dev team (vitalik) made clear they are concentreating on the tech aspect more than the financial market so the etherum tec is gonna stand even after all other falls, they already had few grants from government to develop the platform that's a clear indecation of how much the tec behind ethereum is solid and we all know instituations like NASA wont pour money in something unless its worth it but the dam annoying part is more than probly it will take a long time for ethereum price to recover from this =/ i would like to remind ppl that amazon and google were one of the companies that were around in the .com bubble and they survived and thrieved after the bubble just took long for them to recover and the reason is that they had a solid and true function and thts is exactally what ethereum is like.so hold on to your pants for while  |

LOL the market is recoverying already take alook eth is up from 760 to 850 and the market cap recovery by about 50 billion,now watch few ppl who paniced and sold cheap at 700 regreats |
