I'm confused. Why Eth which is so in demand by the crypto community is so strongly dependent on bitcoin. Their price charts copy each other. Is there really no way to break this vicious link?
Cmon man.... bitcoin is like 7 years ahead (2008) of Ethereum (2015). ETH is consider to be performing very good already. ETH is doing great. BTC just has the most volume right now among crypto and several people still use BTC to buy ETH. Places to buy ETH with cash is severely limited yet Thats why the charts follow each other and btc moves then eth also moves with it |

But right now everything is at least somewhat based off bitcoins swings. I think people see it as if bitcoin is failing all will be failing.. |

There is a possibility of hard fork to change the PoW. Bitcoin Cash could be a good alternative. |

But you don't know BTC is king of this crypto universe all recent changes into this ecosystem because of it. BTC opens the door of opportunities for all projects to grow significantly. |

Nice read, wasn't aware of all those things, so at the end of the day it's just better to keep most of your eth and tokens into an hardware wallet and just transfer them to another address whenever you want to trade (speaking of idex, forkdelta) |

Thanks you for the information... I think it is important to separate the fund into two type of wallets... one is store your precious eth on hardware wallet , two is leave some only for interacting with web3 through metamask. |

All yr wallets out of pc U go online only to transact u can use also parity or mew |

yeah... it will be the new beginning of Ethereum journey. The core team had already spent 4 years on this. I would start filling my bags now although I have enough ETH in my wallet, I am really confident that ETH will replace bitcoin one day because it has real product that bitcoin. The thing that made me convince myself to invest is that there are a lot of ICOs now that are using ETH platform and they are successful so it is not impossible for ETH to pump extremely in time. |

Ethereum is doing impressive advancement by keep rebounding in this time when most of the market are experiencing instability. Use your own mind of analysis what is coming and adaption plus development where can take it. There is everything good unless you aren't day trader or have short termed goals.

There is a possibility of hard fork to change the PoW. Bitcoin Cash could be a good alternative. When BTC hard fork ever hurt it? its quite the opposite. |

Can someone explain, why ICO on ETH is more popular than projects in NEO or BTC ?
Just a few pros and cons. I'm new in this crypto world and reading 891 is nuts.

Because Icos on BTC cant be done by a Smartcontract on the BTC itself. Neo is in my opinion not futured on that many exchanges, so its not that popular. Erc20 Tokens are futured on near all exchanges because if ETH is supported ERC20 is also supported. Also on Ethereum you can better implement custom codes. ETH will and is the future of crypto, it has not only one function like Bitcoin ( Function of money) it has many functions. This will revolution the complete online structure. One of the biggest advantage for Ethereum are the potential network effects and synergies between all those ICOs that have been and will be started. They can all very easily integrate with each other and make use of all those services delivered upon the Ethereum protocol at the same time. |

There is long list of ICO's to be launched during all the year long one after others. This alone gives understanding that demand of Ethereum will be increase which proves simple theory of demand and supply is equal to increase in value of product. If trillions of market this year is true then add a multiplier of 2x to 4x to its price too.
