Because many projects themselves do not believe in their success, others spend too little time and money on marketing at an early stage of the project, and although the idea and the team are excellent, people just do not have time to hear about the project

Bad advertisevement, the fact that bitcoin is currently in stagnation brings no value to alts, except if there is a lot of investers/backers. and also when there is a lot of investers the more they come.

have being studying some ico this year they are failing , what are the causes of there failure

The faith of an ico will be depending on the developers if they will succeed or not ,there are coins today which are good for long term investment because their project are trusted by different companies that it will grow and everyone who invest will earn a huge amount of profit in the market.

A lot of ICO is a failure, because there are too many ICO do. Many projects before the start are doomed to the right, since the many ideas of projects are bad. Sometimes it is simply organized by the ICO for the purpose of fraud. Therefore, before joining the ICO, you need to carefully analyze the projects. Good results after ICO show blockchains. For example, USECHAIN https://www.usechain.net/ , the first mirror identity blockchain.

The failure of some icos maybe due to some reasons like, they maybe scam projects, they didn't get enough to reach their target, they were not well developed or managed and are not sure of the product. It might also be due the the reason that investors did not really show interest in the project or the project lacks good marketing.

I agree to the idea of scam project because a lot of ico project that launched in the market are turning to scam they promise to improve their project but in the end it show a high failed.
I think the reason why project failed because of lack of community and advertisement to the market this is important in any project.

Some ICOs might failed due to lack of information of what there project is, but most reason is that they do not reached the softcap or the target of they want it to be sold, and meeting with this circumstances is unable to them in continuing the project that they have started.

There are a lot of them that can not reach their softcap, and that is the main reason of why they stop with the sale and they just try to return all the investments, but it only happens with less than a 10% of the entire icos.

Some ICO are doomed to start from the start because investors are wiser now, now they know the kind of ICO that are worth investing and some ICO failed because of the funding they failed to even reach the softcap and cannot implement their roadmap because of the lack of funds and support from the community.
Now it is true that investors now have much more education and good knowledge about crypto. Even one of them is currently most investors have a group or community that discuss about ico investment. So they will think together and analyze whether a project will work or not. It is underlying that currently many projects are not able to achieve the appropriate roadmap, they are short of investors because at this time is just a very promising project that the investors choose.
Yeah I absolutely agree that is why if and ICO’s are not fully defined road map  would leave to failure, the service or the functional products is also important in selecting ICO if the working products is not profitable the investors would would probably shy away from the said ICO's.

average ico in 2018 this sales its ico on success
only a few have failed, the majority on success
onsite errors that failed to sell its ico, because it uses a new campaign manager, plus his campaign manager got red trust, so down his coin reputation, down investor trust to buy onplace coin

I think it depends the number of investors who involve in the ICO in what they bases. Nowadays, investors are wisely choosing good ICO to have a potential to grow money quickly and some of projects are not demand for investors so it ends up to failed. Also, it depends on the presale event wether they reaches the targets in such projects.

Other than being a scam project, I think one of the major reasons most ICO fail is lack of research and not introducing a project people find interesting. Too many ICOs going on at the same time is also another disturbing factor.

Such statistics isn't surprising. Many startups fail, but ICO projects stop working much faster and more often than traditional startups. Many projects solve far-fetched problems, so such a project is unlikely to be in demand in the real world and it is unlikely that ICO will be successful. The ICO market continues to evolve, and a high share of failure is the norm for startups in any market.

because the team does not invest enough in the project's output on the stock exchange, look at the Yggdrash project, it was a couple of months ago, but the guys are not in a hurry to the stock exchange, because they do not want their coin to be sold at a low price

This may be caused by the notion of Ico being so good. And also the way how the project managers and the people behind Ico are not doing their best. Sometimes project marketing is not so good. There are many factors that could be the reason why Ico failed. and lack of advertising is also one of the reasons.

Indeed many ICO's fail. If I look at the ICO that I follow, which fails, I see them less mature in terms of planning. I likened them to impose the birth of a premature baby. In addition, they do not plan a detailed marketing strategy and mature so they do not have a definite direction who is the target investor and how many target investors every day. This marketing strategy also impacts on the sale of the crypto currency token.  If the marketing strategy less attractive so it needs a breakthrough effort that was not done other ICO for our tokens sold in the market.

Yes, I found some ICOs that were failed. they can reach the softcap or their coins  have no price on the market.
The causes:
- less promotion, no new project ideas, simple presentation
- No control of the coins on the market by the developer of the coin ICO

This happens for many reasons, which today, unfortunately, very often depend on developers who can simply close the project, as it happens very often and does not say anything to anyone, because only they have power over the project

For my opinion, ICO has failed because the ICO that they advertised doesn't click to the customers that's why some ICO is unsuccessful and the bounty campaign that they use to advertise also has affected that's why some bounty campaigns has no pay.
