Most project do not make success because of lack in marketing strategy which make the project to jut scam and do not pay those investors. The development wont work well and no one give update to the contributors who help them to spread words about the project. They have only little demands on their products and compared to their competitors in the market. They didn't introduce their products very well in the market.

That's the point lack of marketing to improve their projects. Also, mostly they just wanted to collect money from investors and just to scam who invest in their project. Did not meet even the softcap during the Ico's so a lot of reasons actually that ico failed.
