Actually they have some many reason on why the ICO failed. Some problem of that was some investor are leaving in the project, And some of are the hardcap are not reach so they going to stop some of there project they introduced. But they have some scammers also the threat of project

and if the investor leaving the project then it means, the project cannot continue to grow and to develop another plan. and this will give an impact on the other people inside the projects because they think that soon, the project will stop and they cannot make any profit from the projects. I see that many ICO cannot reach the hard cap but they still survive and I don't think that this project will fail because if they can convince new investor then I am sure that the project will continue and will reach the success in the future.

According to NIST and ECRYPT II, the cryptographic algorithms used in Bitcoin are expected to be strong until at least 2030. (After that, it will not be too difficult to transition to different algorithms.)

Bad advertisevement, the fact that bitcoin is currently in stagnation brings no value to alts, except if there is a lot of investers/backers. and also when there is a lot of investers the more they come.

They usually fail because the price of the coin is a lot plus they have a softcap that is not really easy to be obtained. A softcap is not needed.

There are already a lot of projects on the market that cover a very large part of the need, so now to really have a competitive project, you need to try very hard to have your advantages.

There are many reasons, firstly because their project is not feasible and they are not really attractive to consumers, in my opinion I should focus on developing a project for any ICO and community development. key factor. A number of fraudulent ICOs are created to appropriately dispose of someone else's property.

Because it is less desirable by the community or less well targeted then the clarity of the ICO itself is also influential, the team developers are not clear, wallpaper is not convincing, investors may be aspects that affect the failure of ICO .

Agree with you, a lot of ICOs team members are lazy and do not want to communicate with their investors.

have being studying some ico this year they are failing , what are the causes of there failure

in my opinion, ico failed because the team is not good, there is no fee for promotion, try you see ico is successful, they have a good team, promotional advertisement installed in many places

true.. ICOs highly depend on their devs decision making skills as well as marketing. With the number of ICOs, it's going to be difficult to promote your token with  a mediocre marketing strategy and low fund allocation into advertising.

On the other hand, Menlo.one could solve this problem and help save tons of money spent on advertisements. It's like ICO websites like ICO bench, but allows you to actually buy tokens straight from a single platform and I think that this will greatly change future ICOs for the better.

This is what got me hooked to this project. It's an interview featuring Menlo One's CEO with Korean Jew  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Rw1QBpBYE6o

I think many icos fail because they do not have the good products they offer so their coins have no value. People are thrown away, and their prices fall. That's in my opinion.

Not some mate, 95% of icos are scam, fail. I think there are main 2 reasons:
- Dev team dont want to do anything. They just write a whitepaper, create a website, raise fund then quit!!!
- Poor idea, lack of experience in marketing make no one care and want to buy their token when listed exchange

My reason why some ICOs often fail, it's all possible projects that become the person who handles and promotes the token also fail, because the project idea itself. The idea of a bad project has little chance of success. Most developers also fail to notice cryptoeconomics or token demand and inflation is a big factor.

Because their project is not feasible with the consumer market, they are not highly rated by consumers. If the consumer market appreciates your project will succeed.

Some peoples says the ICO not running good because their marketing strategy is not good.
Peoples need to know about their project if they want more investors come and buy their tokens in ICO.

Many ICOs fail because advertising is not effective, their product sales are not good, the team does not do well and there are many other reasons why the ICO failed.

There are many contributing factors why ICOs fail such as bad project ideas, technology issues like scalability and security, and regional disparities where projects based in developing nations have a proportionally lower success rate than those in developed nations.

Investing in any ICO can be risky, so it’s important to look at projects that are proactively working to avoid these mistakes. Of course, some (if not the majority) of even the most promising projects have the potential to fail. If you plan to HODL your ICO investment, you should always assess the project’s long-term strategy.

Because there is no real people behind such project, no whitepaper or businessplan. It's good to look through Scam ICOs especially on the team behind them.

You're absolutely right. However the tokens of many successful projects are below the ICO price or didn't give expected growth. For example Raiden. Other projects that collected hardcap have huge growth. For example Docademic. Although the price of the token doesn't always reflect the success of the project and often depends simply on expectations

Note some, more than half of ICO are failing. Why? Many reasons, really many.
