Some ICO's possibly failed because of a few reasons like, they perhaps scam investors, they didn't motivate enough to achieve their objective, they were not all around created or oversaw and don't deliver their product properly. It may likewise be expected the reason that financial specialists did not so much show enthusiasm for the venture or the task they needs for marketing their project.
In essence, ico failure is caused by unachievable sales targets. Each ICO project must have a soft cap and hard cap target. If soft cap is not achieved, usually the project will fail or not in accordance with the targets that have been made. Sales cannot be achieved because of projects that are too mainstream, less innovative, narrow range, so the public response is less good.

Each block is stacked on top of the previous one. Adding another block to the top makes all lower blocks more difficult to remove: there is more "weight" above each block. A transaction in a block 6 blocks deep (6 confirmations) will be very difficult to remove.

The reason for not achieving the goal in the sale phase is in themselves, they are scammers. A project lacking creativity, irresponsibility shouldn't deploy from the beginning, they know but still do.

Maybe they initially did not intend to enter the market. It happens. This is a Scam. As an option. Or simply there were problems of the technical plan.

Many ICO fail for quite different reasons, but mostly just weak projects prevail, or projects that at some point did something not in a timely manner.

There are many cryptocurrencies that have failed prior to raising money through an ICO and many that have failed after raising money through an ICO. This is similar to many technology startups, as most will fail.

Because many were mindless cashgrabs and once they had the money they didn't really have any idea of getting to the end product. Notice how many ICO's have shocking websites, then once they get funding they "rebrand". Such a joke, many are just outright stealing, I'd practice extreme caution before touching an ICO.

There are too many ICO causes to fail, but As we usually see in this forum, on other social media sites and even on ICO rating sites, there are many ICO's that are not successful in their Token sales period, I think they usually fail, because they lack the investors who can support their platforms with large fund investments, poor team management and a lack of major partnerships with other companies.

Not all projects are successful.
Projects that do not sell tokens, projects can not afford maintenance and dev teams can not continue.

Many ico are failed bcause many ico appear and the important one is how to win because many competitors. Many things make ico failed because the investors is not interested in the project. So that it is difficult for Ico to reach it's goal.

I think most of them just want to sell ICO for money but they do not develop products. So the ICO will fail

Many reasons underlie ICO failures. I think have not been maximized marketing the projects, developers are less responsive to potential investors and others.

This is all we have to examine and we need to gather some factors that cause the failure of an imperfect ICO in marketing, so they do not achieve the desired target but the main reason behind all ICO failures is that there is no complete community of them , because there are too many good projects but they do not want to spend money to promote their ICO project to many investors around the world, So they can not mobilize hard cap and soft cap

have being studying some ico this year they are failing , what are the causes of there failure

In my opinion, there are many reasons that can spoil an ICO project. The very idea of the project may not be so good as to succeed. Project can not raise funds (their soft cap). The team behind the project may be is not that good. There is a possibility that ICO itself is a scam. There are many other factors as a whole...  Smiley

There are some ico their purpose may not be good. So essentially the time is short, they don’t have good projects, they have no practical value, and if they don’t have any profits, they will soon not survive.

There are already a lot of projects on the market that cover a very large part of the need, so now to really have a competitive project, you need to try very hard to have your advantages.

Last year was without a doubt the Year of ICO. From the beginning of 2017, 201 projects raised more than $3B thru ICO. This year the correction is going to be huge, the situation has changed.

I think ICO failed cause the community didn't bigger enough so the investor don't buy much token in the ICO phase so the ICO will fail, and when their ICO doesn't success so they leave their ICO or even become SCAM ICO

They failed because they had to fail. ICOs are many times bad business, up to the point of becoming scams. However, it is possible to find good ones knowing how.

because it was meant to happen, and I think an ico gets failed because some investors dont see it good or maybe it has another similar project before.

Probably because the market this year basically fails. In my opinion so far, there were more red days than green ones. And now everything is terribly badly falling!!!
