many ICOs are just taking advantage of themselves, without thinking of investors, once they benefit from their investors leaving and forgetting their sweet promises, only a fraction of this year's ICO is serious about their projects and that much less.

There are many scam ICO that not only made investors confused but also hiding great ICO behind. The higher rate of scam, make investors afraid to contribute in ICO.

The main concern about these ICOs is the project,  number of ICOs come up with poor projects that doesn't focus on the market needs or are jut too complected and unrealistic. They are therefore useless in the long run or the project doesn't reach its targets, which an undoing factor to them, sometimes some of the ICOs really dont intend to be a success, rather they are scam projects with an intention to swindle investors money

Incorrectly designed plan of the project development, or the implementation of the initial idea is poor and something like that. Sometimes even high-quality projects simply can not compete with the more popular ones.

There are many reasons why ico fails, but one of the most frequent reasons is not getting hardcap or softcap from ico, so ico to fail,

There are many probable reason why ico have failed, the one that I am familiar with is that, their ico lacks of investors causing their token sale to didn't reach its softcap, resulting for project to discontinue. Some ico also have reach its hardcap and has a success in sale, but when it turns to exchange, the price of their tokens are useless because many investors didn't see the point of function to that token, causing the token price to dump and soon to be delisted in the exchange.

one of the important factors ico project is marketing, how the team manage their marketing well. the concept of project and team must also be clear, if all I think there will be no failure, but it all depends on investor interest in the ico project.

The main reason of this some were lack of communication and not haveba creadible write ups to prove how they can do their so called ico. Many of them is only created for moneygrab, that indicates a not good ico to invest in and many more reasons. If ever anyone wants to invest research first.

A promising product, a competent team, the right marketing, - at the very least, these conditions must be followed by a good ICO. Next, we need a correctly drawn up plan at the right time, a good approach to investors and many other small things that can influence the progress of the project.

The failure of the ICO that I often encounter is that they lost the investor and developer team does not run in accordance with the roadmap. And an awful lot of ICO is now new and more promising for investors, of course, they will try with the ICO. And if they have a good team and have a very good potential in the market will continue to survive for a long time.

Personally, I believe the reason why some ico fail is because they were not well developed and the do not have good team to support or market the project and this leads to the failure, some also fail because they do not have good whitepaper, roadmap, manager and even community and some do not have products because people believe it is better to invest in a project where you can see the product unlike some that are based on assumption.

Many ICOs simply copy other people's ideas and do not have MVP. Investors are no longer interested in investing their money in such crappy projects.

I think the reason why some ICOs are failing because they do not have good and promising project to everybody that is why there are no investors who would like to join.

It seems to me that every year only a growing number of bad projects, even very many projects that have collected 50 million disappear

Yep, so many same shit project, only modelling the whitepaper and make a little change. Project like that will never success and even investor will not invest on that project. I'm not surprised many ICOs failed because of that thing.

yes, I also see a lot of ico that may fail it because the concept offered less promising investors or maybe because the current market is decreasing so investors prefer to keep their money
