Every time a block is mined, a certain amount of BTC (called the subsidy) is created out of thin air and given to the miner. The subsidy halves every four years and will reach 0 in about 130 years.

Also lemfuture, could we update the configure on page one? I edited it to include the ports on all the nodes, I think that it is causing some of the connection issues.

As long as you are trying, I'm backing Dime all the way.

Just a a note about Coinedup. I know Coinedup has a lot of Dime (gifted to it ...). Of all the exchanges, the amount of Dime posted for sale there is way, way higher.

I am bewildered, then, that suddenly in-house buys and sells are now capped at 10,000,000 (currently the same as 0.2 to 0.3 LTC maximum)

This is very recent, and given Coinedup's grip on the market, it is almost certainly stopping Dime from finding a natural price.

You can put multiple orders or sells in, but given it often takes 2 minutes just to put one in at Coinedup, I doubt many casual observers can be arsed.

Trying to add Dime to AllCrypt.com - cant get connections. I start the wallet, we get one then it drops. Even using the latest posted nodes.

Compiled from a git source.

Is there some issue we should be aware of?
