I can not mine in this pool. win7 64 too
There are several different types of Bitcoin clients. The most secure are full nodes like Bitcoin Core, which will follow the rules of the network no matter what miners do. Even if every miner decided to create 1000 bitcoins per block, full nodes would stick to the rules and reject those blocks.

Just A tad bit cheaper than YPool.

That is if YPool is going to keep the normal 5% fee.
Our fee for Riecoin is only 2%

@jh00

Is the source code available? We need a native Linux client.

I'm still getting some PM's about getting my optimized miner.  For the moment, I advise people not to unless you really want to mine hard for the next few hours.  Given jh00's experience optimizing the xpm miner, and given the chat on ypool, people should assume that until proven otherwise, the ypool miner will blow everything else out of the water for a while.  Wait until it's released and we have a comparison before wasting donations on mine.
I hope that sources or linux binary will be released, otherwise it can be an insane to run wine

Problem is that jh00s miner wont be able to solomine
yes, but if many people join the ypool, it will be no sense for solomining with several machines. So linux binary is really needed for AWS\DO instances.

If jh00's is substantially faster than mine, I'll release the code as patches back to gatra, to at least let the Linux users do something.  If it's slower, .. well, :-)

Good work, now that's how an optimized Riecoin miner should be implemented.  Grin

I just wanted to let everybody know that we will launch our Riecoin pool on ypool.net today at 4 PM GMT!

Furthermore I have made very big optimizations to the miner, so we will see a nice rain of coins at launch until the difficulty catches up. Hope everybody has time to be there when it starts Smiley

Edit: I am an idiot and said 6 PM instead of 4 PM, so to make it official: Launch is at 4 PM (GMT)

Edit2: We will have Linux source & Win32/Win64 binaries ready

Great!  However is linux source correct ?

I bet 10 minutes more until the diff jumps to extreme value Cheesy. Lack of Kimoto will make it dead for 1-2 days in a moment Cheesy

When I use the linux source, I got such errors:

Connected to server using x.pushthrough(xpt) protocol
xpt: Logged in with luluisaminer.r3
The login is configured for an unsupported algorithm.

Help!!

Thanks. Although the source is not very nice, I had to rush a lot of things and it is far from optimized. There are no parameters for tuning etc. I think we can still improve the overall performance by a factor of 10 to 20.

I will upload a cleaned up and slightly optimized version to my repository later.
